Interesting twists and a couple of U turns

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

The book is a good listen when able to stay focused and in tune. Driving to and from work for say a 15 minute commute doesn't work with this book. Long chapters

What aspect of Elan O'Connor’s performance would you have changed?

her voice is a bit annoying at times when she assumes different characters - I got confused a few times on who was talking and to whom...

Did The Final Arrangement inspire you to do anything?

I finished the book and l looked to see if there are any more in the series. Alas not at this time.

I will not continue with this series

for my taste - way too much reference to Him.

Yes, with the statement that it follows the same lines as other books written by Lucy and her pen names

Yes because she introduces other players and I want to know their stories too

LOL in the antics of fearless and shoes

What made the experience of listening to Fearless in High Heels the most enjoyable?

The hijinks of these characters continue. Start at the beginning of the series and you won't get lost in their capers and escapades of fun and danger. You listen and find yourself wanting to say Don't do it!!! But who listens...not the characters which make it even more fun to stay in tune.

What other book might you compare Fearless in High Heels to and why?

If you like Stephanie Plumm, Kelsee Melhone, Hannah Swensen, and Bubbles Bablanski you will enjoy these books too

Which character – as performed by Caroline Shaffer – was your favorite?

Caroline does a great job and I appreciate her ability to make each voice unique.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes

Do start at the beginning - there are references to past episodes and when listened/read in order it does make the best sense. Enjoy I think you will enjoy the listen...

Would you try another book from Maggie Barbieri and/or Gayle Hendrix?

I will try another book in this series - the story is ok - the narrator seems to get mixed up in her voices sometimes. Then I find myself getting mixed up too.

Would you recommend Murder 101 to your friends? Why or why not?

I recommend trying book 2 - the story line is fine and leaves the reader/listener wondering.

What three words best describe Gayle Hendrix’s voice?

a bit dry and seems to get character's mixed up.

Was Murder 101 worth the listening time?

It was worth a drive to and from the lake as well as on a long plane ride. Not sure I would want to start and stop - again it is my issue with the narrator.
