Perfect for those already familiar with King, and those who have never read/heard him before. A playful blend of Indigenous and Euro-Western allegories, with something to say about contemporary life.

I first listened to Bossypants in 2012, and just finished re-listening with my wife. Fey is s great narrator and a funny and insightful writer, but there are several points with racist undertones. It still largely holds up, but those moments really detract from the rest of the book.

Sadly, didn't live up to my (modest) expectations. The story relied too much on pop culture references and 80s nostalgia, and didn't have as compelling or well-written narrative as I'd hoped. If you love plot lines torn from cheesy 80s movies, you're in luck; otherwise, reconsider.

This satiric take on Shakespeare's dark and depressing classic is fun and (more or less) accurate to the original. There are good laughs to be had, and the story is imaginative and intriguing, but this isn't Moore's best work. Sort of an "Angel's and Demons" to "Lamb's" "Davinci Code," entertaining but somewhat familiar and a little less compelling than the more famous work.

Morton does a good job creating an entire cast of characters, and effectively captures classic stage interpretations of Shakespeare's immortal figures.
