Historia
Ki is a petty thief. Her best friend wills her his solo-flyer—call it a space motorcycle: temperamental, fast as hell, and expensive to maintain. Any reasonable person would sell it to get off the street, but Ki isn’t reasonable. Margot is a military vet at loose ends. She blows her entire back pay on a solo-flyer, a decision she instantly regrets but can’t bring herself to undo. Margot meets Ki and thinks she’s the sympathetic friend she needs when she feels most alone. Ki thinks Margot is an easy mark for food money. They’re both right...

Historia
A man broken by despair and depression, Grant Legate finds himself in a once-in-a-lifetime situation after receiving an Ultimate Edition copy of Continue Online. All he wishes for is a distraction from the thoughts plaguing his waking hours. He dives in headfirst, unknowing of the AI's intentions. They offer him the chance to play as one of their own, a NPC deserving of a proper send off. What he discovers during the journey shakes Grant to his very core.

One of the best LitRPGs I've ever read!
Revisado: 02-28-18
Would you consider the audio edition of Continue Online Part One: Memories to be better than the print version?
I haven't read the print version, so I can't accurately answer this, but I definitely enjoyed the audio version.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Continue Online Part One: Memories?
can't go into too much detail without spoiling it, but I'll just ask this. In how many litmmo books does the protag have to play an NPC?
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
What's great about this book is that the characters were very well thought out. It made me think a lot about things in general. I don't personally have depression, but from many I know who do, this book seems rather accurate. And I really appreciated how this wasn't another one of those books where the character wasn't some progamer who could just figure out everything or get extremely lucky or find some major game exploit. That is my issue with 99% of the litMMO books out here. I myself am not that good at video games, but I still love them. So I was able to relate to this a lot.
Any additional comments?
If you like litMMO books, like stories about A.I., and liek stories that deal with the people in and outside of the world, this is for you. There isn't a whole ton of action packed moments, but there are a lot of very meaningful ones that help build both the worlds and outside of the game. This is the most unique and enjoyable litMMO book I have ever read. So much so that I took the time out to write this review. I barely EVER write reviews for anything.
