All You Did Was Make Me Angry

I was not convinced this story would manage to surprise me or get to a climax that would really make the premise payoff.
Color me pleasantly surprised.
There were certain character developments that seemed a little shoehorned in, but most of the people had interesting motivations and backstories. The "twist", if you can call it that, made sense in the context of the novel and the pacing was a steady uphill trot that sprinted to the end.
It was a very fun read. We will definitely be checking out more by this guy!

Sweet, endearing, full of hope.

This isn't our normal listen, but I snagged it on a whim and ended up really enjoying it. The story is short but sweet, with an interesting cast of characters, and a slow-but-still-interesting plot.
It was a present change of pace and the hopeful wrap up was such a delight after so many grim books.
