As one of the three authors of this book, what I appreciate most is that it contains the best thinking of the two mentors responsible my decades of success. I was honored to stack my rock on the mountain of wisdom Sun Tzu and Gary have shared with the world. The goal of this book is to transform the reader or listener into one who sees the world through the eyes of a General who must win. The three books are. 1. Sun Tzu’s “Art of War” 2. the political interpretation and 3. The annotations by me, Shawn Frost after a decade of winning elections. It is short in duration but dense. Listening to this book repeatedly will result in learning in layers as you apply the principles and apply the results of your experiments to the lessons of this book. Here’s to winning. May it become an instinct.

This book is a godsend and wise advice that we all should consider. From chapters 12 on, in particular, I look forward to sharing these practices with military veterans, so that they may make peace with themselves, their families and within their communities.  we have agency and don’t need to be addicted to the drama and division grateful to the authors for this outstanding work.
