The perfect enchanting tale
Revisado: 10-24-19
This story was wonderful! It was intriguing and magical. Written with perfect detail and great character building. The story makes you feel like you were there among them. I found myself shouting at times from anxiousness, or anger. There were moments of tears, fear, but also of great joy and love. I was completely captivated by the story and feel so fortunate to have stumbled across it. It’s a true gem and the perfect book and series I have been longing for. It’s a fairytale with hard edges. This is by far now my favorite story and I can’t wait to continue the tale!

Though she’s now been granted the powers and lifespan of the High Fae, she is haunted by her time Under the Mountain and the terrible deeds she performed to save the lives of Tamlin and his people. As her marriage to Tamlin approaches, Feyre’s hollowness and nightmares consume her. She finds herself split into two different people: one who upholds her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court, and one who lives out her life in the Spring Court with Tamlin.

Oh. My. God.
Revisado: 06-08-19
This second book put the first book to shame. The narrator was amazingly perfect. The story so intriguing and detailed and mesmerizing. The author puts you there. Puts you physically there. The perfect amount of suspense, mystery, adventure, romance. I could not stop listening. You have to read this book! You will not be disappointed. I’ve been waiting for this kind of story for a long long time. Again though, not a teen book.

Dont give up, It get's good!
Revisado: 06-04-19
First of all, like others mentioned, this is NOT a teen book! Should be YA 18 and older due to nudity and sex scenes.
In the beginning I felt the narrator talked too slow and I found myself increasing the speed. And at times almost too dramatized. However, somewhere in the story I became used to her normal voice and it became a pleasant listen. Either that or she picked up speed.
The beginning started out good. Feyre’s character started out bad ass hunting in the woods for her family. Ends up killing a wolf, skinning it, and packing it back home. It’s a very intriguing beginning to the story right up until she’s taken captive by the high fae.
After captured she was rude and ungrateful after learning he spared her life and was taking care of her family financially in her absence. And the fact that she killed one of his good friends (the wolf) out of spite. She was treated like royalty and pampered and she still came off ungrateful for far too long in my opinion. The fae that captures her comes off as weak and too forgiving which was eye rolling until it explains why in the end. I felt he was too nice, and fell too fast. It was like an instant love. No relationship building.
Most of the story was boring to me, nothing really going on. 85% of the book takes place with Feyre being living with the Fae and his best friend. Exploring the grounds, dinning, daydreaming, feeling sorry for herself, spying… there were a couple intense moments in there but nothing really the kept the reader intrigued. Like I said before and others have said, there should have been more relationship building during this time. I also felt that there were too many things being said that didn’t make any sense. It’s not until the end of the book that you understand any of it.
What made me give the book 4 stars overall was towards the pull at the end when the action picked up and captivated me. It was nail biting intense and so good! That’s what got me hooked to purchase the second book. Overall it was a good story line and you’ll be happy in the end.

If someone were to ask Jasmine Santos to describe the last few years of her life with a single word, it would definitely be a four-letter one. After 17 years - and countless broken bones and broken promises - she knows her window to compete in figure skating is coming to a close. But when the offer of a lifetime comes in from an arrogant idiot she's spent the last decade dreaming about pushing in the way of a moving bus, Jasmine might have to reconsider everything.

Not enough of a Story
Revisado: 12-18-18
This is supposed to be a romance but the entire book is just them bickering back and fourth. Don't get me wrong, I love that dynamic but it usually turns flirty and that just didn't happen. There was 20 minutes left of the book and I just stopped. Didn't finish it. There was no romance however they fell in love... I get why they fell in love I just wish we could have heard about it.
I LOVED that Teddy did the narration of all his parts, in fact that's the reason I chose this story even if the story line wasn't very intriguing. If this story would have had Ian's point of view as well it would have made this story 10 times better.

Historia
At 11 he was my first crush. At 16 he became mine. At 19 he broke my heart and destroyed me. That was 10 years ago and the last time I saw Cole Ryan. They say you never get over your first love...I beg to differ. I left my shattered heart buried in a town I never expected to return to. I erased every thought of him and buried the memories never to be found. I moved on...now, 10 years later, I have the perfect life, the perfect fiancé, the perfect career. Everything I ever wanted until I'm forced to go back and face my past and the man that destroyed me.

Intriguing Love Story
Revisado: 12-18-18
This love story had everything. Couldn't put it down. I love that it wasn't rushed but kept you on the edge the whole time. I am a big fan of Teddy Hamilton's narration. He does an excellent job making me fall in love with him. I wish he could have done all his character parts, it would have made the narration perfect. Loved this story. Definitely recommend.

Willa has never been a particularly useful dweller: she isn’t very good at chores, she isn’t very good at worshiping, she isn’t very good at not having opinions, and she isn’t very good with rules - but none of that matters anymore. The rules are changing. The dwellers are trying to make their own way in the world, and Willa can’t seem to help getting tangled up in their plans. Luckily, she has the Abcurse brothers to help her out - until she doesn’t, and suddenly she’s alone again in a world on the brink of chaos.

I wish Willa was more mature about Sex
Revisado: 12-07-18
I love this series! I've listened to the first three back to back, I've been waiting and hoping for Willa to get more mature but it's not happening. 5 stars if Willa was more mature about sex. Gods it's frustrating. Still PG rated.

Historia
In Minatsol, being a dweller means that you are literally no better than dirt. In fact, dirt might actually be more useful than Willa. Her life will be one of servitude to the sols, the magic-blessed beings who could one day be chosen to become gods. At least her outer village is far removed from the cities of the sols, and she won't ever be forced to present herself to them... Until one small mistake changes everything, and Willa is awarded a position to serve at Blesswood, the top sol academy in the world - a position that she definitely did not earn.

Wish it was a little more adult
Revisado: 12-05-18
Loved the story. At first I wasn't very thrilled with the book because of how clumsy and dumb the main character was constantly portrayed and almost returned it. But I stuck with it and it grew on me. I immediately purchased the second book when I was finished.
That being said here is what I believe would have gotten it five stars...
I wish that the narrator wasn't constantly speaking comedy that we could experience some real emotion. I also really don't like how she does the brother's voices. I mean they're Gods for crying out loud. It would be awesome if there was dual narration with an actual male voice. The story is super cute, I wish though that it was a little more of an adult version. Like at least PG-13. I would rate this more PG even though there maybe were two curse words actually said.
Just started the second book. Hoping for a little better narration but I am excited non the less.

Hot for Teddy
Revisado: 12-04-18
I cringed with the narration of Kallie. Maxine did a terrible job with her voice. No ounce of confidence what's so ever. Literally shaky every time she spoke. The story already failed to give Kallie any sass or spunk, and barely any personality at all. Maxine just made it worse. She did a way better job narrating Pax and other characters in the book than she did Kallie.
I wanted to love this story but it was just so unrealistic. Pax is the hottest celeb in the world and could have anyone woman he desired but how he so quickly desired this woman he just met and how quickly he fell in love with her was stupid because Kallie didn't show any personality at all. What the hell did he fall in love with beside her body? The story kept saying how Pax thought she was different and special but the story never let us know what was so special about her. She was nervous and unsure of herself the entire time.
Pax on the other hand is the reason why I gave it 3 stars. Man is he dreamy. Maybe it's the way Teddy narrated cause he voice and the way he portrayed his character was hot hot hot. I dreaded the Maxine parts but oh how I looked forward to when Teddy narration. *Swoon
