Historia
This is what he remembers, as he sits by the ocean at the end of the lane: A dead man on the back seat of the car and warm milk at the farmhouse. An ancient little girl and an old woman who saw the moon being made. A beautiful housekeeper with a monstrous smile. And dark forces woken that were best left undisturbed.

a great story
Revisado: 12-18-13
What made the experience of listening to The Ocean at the End of the Lane the most enjoyable?
The story was very exciting, gripping and fantastical but it did get a little repetitive by the end (yes, we know you are not going to let go of Lettie Hempstock's hand, you have said it 5 times now) And maybe it's something you wouldn't notice if you were reading it, however there was so much imagination you can let that go and absorb yourself into his world.
What did you like best about this story?
I love Neil's work, his imagination is spectacular and his story telling is beyond skilled, this is another of his great works of fantasy fiction.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
I found the narration a little annoying, it sounds like he's reading to a circle of children gathered round a fire cupping a mug of warm milk. Which was nice at first but got annoying for the whole book.

good but a little dated
Revisado: 04-24-13
Where does Rich Dad Poor Dad rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
The performance is poor but there are little gems in the content that are useful, it did change the way I thought about investments
Would you be willing to try another book from Robert T. Kiyosaki? Why or why not?
Maybe if it was read by someone else!
Would you be willing to try another one of Tim Wheeler’s performances?
er, no, I think that's obvious.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Times have changed and the economic environment is quite different to when this was written however
I think with all these kind of self help books you take what you need. There are gems in this, and those made it all worthwhile.

Historia
Once in a generation a woman comes along who changes everything. Tina Fey is not that woman, but she met that woman once and acted weird around her.
Before 30 Rock, Mean Girls, and 'Sarah Palin', Tina Fey was just a young girl with a dream: a recurring stress dream that she was being chased through a local airport by her middle-school gym teacher. She also had a dream that one day she would be a comedian on TV. She has seen both these dreams come true.

fabulous
Revisado: 10-08-12
Would you listen to Bossypants again? Why?
Yes, there were plenty of KILLER lines and quips
What was one of the most memorable moments of Bossypants?
I very much enjoyed Tina's description of her childhood and her father.
Have you listened to any of Tina Fey’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
nope.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I could have...
Any additional comments?
Although it was very entertaining I felt I didn't really learn anything terribly deep about Tina, and I wanted to.
