Historia
Before Madeleine Albright turned twelve, her life was shaken by the Nazi invasion of Czechoslovakia—the country where she was born—the Battle of Britain, the near total destruction of European Jewry, the Allied victory in World War II, the rise of communism, and the onset of the Cold War. Albright's experiences, and those of her family, provide a lens through which to view the most tumultuous dozen years in modern history.

Incredible story

I appreciate that Sec. Albright read it herself. Truly a wonderful listen, albeit tragic in parts.

This is one of the best Audiobooks I've ever listened to, and I've listened to a lot. Given how expansive the book is, audio is an excellent medium. The narrator was excellent. The story absolutely wonderfully crafted and told.

Historia
This classic tale is a fantastical fable of two dear friends - one of whom goes astray and is literally lost to the north woods, while the other undertakes an epic journey to rescue him. This charming, strange, and wonderful story is a timeless allegory about growing up and the challenges of staying true to one's self, and it served as the wintry inspiration for the blockbuster hit Frozen.

Enchanting Story

Very enjoyable listening. Great story. The reader's voice is beautiful. Perfect for winter.
It was a little scary and dark, in parts, so not necessarily good for very young children.

Wonderful Story
Revisado: 10-01-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
My seven-year-old loves this book. She read it first, but now she enjoys listening to it over and over because the narrator uses excellent voices for the different characters and pronounces the Chinese words. We highly recommend it!
What about Angela Lin’s performance did you like?
Voices and Chinese pronunciation make this a wonderful listen.
