Short and to the point. Very much so enjoyed this short read! Loved the voice of the reader and the characters. The author gave a lot in so little time. Great work! Lastly, I do so love reading boxed series that are completed! 🥰

What I loved about this title and the whole series is the voice of the story teller. Who ever is reading these books for the author is amazing. I just hope it’s the same person for the next book or someone better.

This book is supper funny and entertaining. I love all the books. Every time I finish one I start the whole series over again and it feels like I’m listening to a new story all over again! I catch new jokes that I missed before and I just love it!

I don’t like that the book has to end and I I have to wait almost a year for the next characters stories! But I also love the anticipation in knowing there is another bat tale afoot!!! lol I love the connection that each book has to the next but making the next it’s own. This book had awesome characters loving and supportive family/friend bonds and as the books continue I love the more confidence the main character leads have in themselves and their abilities.

Nice Flow

I enjoyed the flow of the book and it’s characters from book to book. I love it when the writer links/intertwines the characters within the following books. This felt like a true continuation of the story line and I didn’t have to think too hard on who was on the other book and how they are introduced in the current book. Plus, it wasn’t a huge repetitive thing when they did have to link the character and scenes from previous books to current books so you know where the narrative fits in at a certain point in time. The book just flowed. Unfortunately, for me I do so enjoy reading box set collections so I can listen and drive and don’t have to worry about switching books every other day, but the next book book is only five…. The rest come as singles and not in the box set as 1-4.😔🥺. Honestly. That’s my only disappointment. They book was enjoyable o my drive to and from work.

Hold on… there is one bad thing about this book. I think it’s in the first two books… the person reading the story sounds like a creepy old lady. If u can get past that then ur golden.

Also one of the readers sound like Prim from the movie Transformers!!!!🤣😂

Disappointed

If ur a fan… you have to get the book because u just got to know what happens and how the characters develop….

But as a fan… I was actually disappointed and a bit upset while listening to the book. I didn’t want to finish it. Wanted to skip through some parts. Felt like the whole book was just SLOW in its entirety! I love me some Christine Feehan and all that she creates but I felt slighted with this one.
I usually don’t write review but I’m actually a bit upset after the book just ended. It just ended. I didn’t even see it coming. It just ended out the blue! This was just a weird book for me.

I still love you Christine and I can’t Waite for ur new book to come out on the 25th! 🥰. Sorry for the upsetting review

It was a good read

I enjoyed reading the book but what I didn’t like was that on the cover of the book you see a big black woman, but it is slightly mentioned that she has brown or black skin. Or that she is a big woman. Also not mentioned is the race discrimination when meeting the “royal” family and the snide remarks that she lets pass by because she “doesn’t understand the language” but her fiancé understands and doesn’t say anything or come to her defense about it????

I enjoyed the book but it could have been a hell of a lot better had they added to it.

Also I noticed a previous review that the main character sounds like an old man and unfortunately to say, that person was right! I was very disappointed to hear that. If the character was supposed to be an older gentleman then OK, I can go with that. But again it’s not mentioned that he is older.

The sex scenes are steamy, but I wish they would sort through their emotions a bit better when they have disagreements.

Excellent read

This was a very good read. I just don’t like it when I get half of a book. If it’s three parts that’s fine but I just want the three parts to be in one book so I can read them together or just let it be available for a next read immediately. Not the case with this book. Part two is “coming soon” I’m sure.

All in all It’s an excellent read and I do love the narrators. But I don’t like there is a “part two”. I prefer a standalone book.
