This should be a movie..

But, it might get ruined so maybe just stick with the Audible. Lily is a kick a$$ heroine who gives as good as she gets (and then some!) Marc is a great anti-hero who can turn on the charm when needed, but is more comfortable in his role as mercenary. (Although he doesn't show Lily much mercy in parts of the book). This ends on a cliff hanger which I wanted to join Lily in kicking a certain someone's a$$, so I'm off to get the second book. For the record, I HATE duets & trilogies but I really enjoyed this story and one of my favorite booksets is the Kane trilogy, so I'm in.
**my only draw back in here was the female narrator sounded like a pack a day smoker when reading Marc's part which was kind of distracting. Otherwise, she and the male narrator did a good job!!
