Really hard to continue

This was my favorite series ever, but this book felt painful to get through. I preordered the next one, but I’m not sure if I can start it. I’m not feeling it anymore.

Never disliked a book this much

I’ve listened to some pretty bad books. This takes the cake for the worst I’ve PAID for. I’m in chapter 24 and I’m giving up.
It’s so slow, there is no real plot line or action that indicates towards one, as of yet, half way through the book.
The writing reminds me of wattpad writers, very juvenile and trying too hard with long descriptive paragraphs to take more space.
The narrator is THE WORST of any book I’ve listened to. Not only does her voice not match the context of what she’s reading, she DOESNT KNOW HOW TO PRONOUNCE WORDS. There have been at least 5 times where she has pronounced something incorrectly. It’s so painful to listen to.
Finally, I don’t appreciate this being recommended for people who like Sara j maas or Jennifer armentrout. That’s so disrespectful to their writing.
Do not recommend for anyone as this is age restricted, but I’m unsure what adult would enjoy this. Maybe for background noise.
