Ember hasn't had the smoothest of lives up to now and when she decides she wants a normal college life her brother and over protective friends are less than supportive -- and then Lock falls into her life --literally. They meet during a gang fight and it just gets more harrowing from there.

I almost got whiplash from all the crazy plot twists and I think I totally held my breath for several pages as I read this one!
It might be Ms Anastasia's best ever

The narrators selected for this are perfect fits andcapture the characters perfectly

The perfect Climax

This is the final book in Helena Hinting's Pucked series and it was worth every second of the wait. Darren and Charlene are introduced very early on in Pucked as they are the besties of Alex and Vi and they figure prominently through the series - Helena has done a masterful job of leaving many, many misleading clues about these 2 in all the previous books but the reality is just a million times better.

These two damaged people are so the missing parts of each other and their journey to discover this is amazing.

I look forward to listening to this over and over and over again

A bad narrator can ruin any book

What disappointed you about Castles?

The narrator is so awful and pronounces things HORRIBLY. I get accents and all but seriously the name of the hero is colin NOT COLAN every time she says it is think of a disgusting body part

A quick listen and enjoyable story

This book is quite short (less than a full workday or a one way trip to California) but it was easy to listen to and the story is enjoyable.

The plot moves along at a pace the requires a suspension of reality but the main characters have cute interaction and I will listen to the next book in the seris

It is a wonderful bad boy loves good girl and makes the right choice story

any one who could have read it more smoothly

yes but I couldn't because the narration was choppy

The dialogue was better than the narration portions (but still not stellar) The narrator spoke every sentance as if it were a stand alone statement or headline. Nothing flowed together like a paragraph and it was very hard to listen to. There was no inflection other than strong declaration. I will most likely pass on another book with this narrator even if I love the story

This series needs to take note from the Goldy Bear mysteries - they were wise enough to put all the recipes at the end of the book so the story was not completely disrupted every chapter.

This is a great story and I really enjoyed the mystery and the romance. I couldn't wait to hear what happened next

Move the recipes they ruin the flow

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I do not like that the recipes have been left in the middle of the books. When I listen to the Goldy Bear mysteries they have moved all the recipes to the end of the recording so it doesn't break up the stories.
