Historia
The culmination of nearly 30 years of reporting on Donald Trump, Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter David Cay Johnston takes a revealingly close look at the mogul's rise to power and prominence. Covering the long arc of Trump's career, Johnston tells the full story of how a boy from a quiet section of Queens, New York, would become an entirely new and complex breed of public figure. Trump is a man of great media savvy, entrepreneurial spirit, and political clout. Yet, his career has been plagued by legal troubles and mounting controversy

Just the Facts, Wow, Wow, Wow

Thank you David.
Here's a shock I learned in this audiobook:
Trump's grandfather died in 1918 from the pandemic!
His own family died in 1918 in the 1917-1921 pandemic, yet Trump downplayed tranmissibility of COVID, and got a bad case of COVID and he nearly died of COVID, and still acts like it's no big deal.
Why does he downplay it to the detriment of his own followers?
Great audio book. Lots of chronology n legal notes.

This is hilariously serious. So funny, yet poignant.
I wish there were more episodes.
My new favorite audio book.

Historia
With authoritative reporting honed through eight presidencies from Nixon to Obama, author Bob Woodward reveals in unprecedented detail the harrowing life inside President Donald Trump’s White House and precisely how he makes decisions on major foreign and domestic policies. Woodward draws from hundreds of hours of interviews with firsthand sources, meeting notes, personal diaries, files, and documents. The focus is on the explosive debates and the decision-making in the Oval Office, the Situation Room, Air Force One, and the White House residence.

If this is true, WE HAVE LOTS OF TRAITORS
Revisado: 09-16-18
This story made Trump seem better than I thought he was, but if true, I was stunned at how much power Lindsey Graham has..and if all is true, it shows that the people in the Cabinet and Congress are not following our Constitution by either invoking the 25th or calling for impeachment hearings, all so they can impose huge austerity packages on America, to cut out our safety nets and make us more dependent on bankers. All of which is treason. They have forsaken our Constitution for greed, just like all traitors.
I found my self wondering how Bob Woodward got all those people to talk who still work in the White House, how he got Cohn to talk, how he got that inside information. I wondered if he didn't just "put two and two together and take author's liberty" to create a story that would sell, although I have seen him swear he has back up.
If this story is true, the NYT op-ed was a statement of how the military has taken over our government, and made me wonder if we will ever have free and fair elections, or any real elections again (and made me prepare for "a miracle win" by the GOP, just as Pinochet's government "won" those elections for 12 years).
Unless Americans are willing to stand up for our Constitution and Democracy, LITERALLY, when the GOP steals the 18 elections, we will go the way of Chile and internment camps will not only be for the undocumented and this government will continue to be riddled with traitors.
I got my passport updated and am currently looking at where I can escape. It does not look good.
