Historia
Psychologist Woo-kyoung Ahn devised a course at Yale called “Thinking” to help students examine the biases that cause so many problems in their daily lives. It quickly became one of the university’s most popular courses. Now, for the first time, Ahn presents key insights from her years of teaching and research in a book for everyone. She shows how “thinking problems” stand behind a wide range of challenges, from common, self-inflicted daily aggravations to our most pressing societal issues and inequities.

Overacting: is this a Disney channel production for teens?
Revisado: 04-27-25
The tone used by the actress is so annoying. She was so over the tope pretending all the time to add an overexcited tone, over-fun, over-complicity,… is this the Disney channel?
I was about stop listening as she was getting so badly under my skin. It’ll take weeks for my subconscious to forget her and to stop mocking her.
The book is fine.

Historia
Physicist Harry Cliff ventures out in search of the ultimate apple pie recipe, tracing the ingredients of our universe through the hearts of dying stars and back in time to a tiny fraction of a second after our universe began. Along the way, he confronts some really big questions: what is matter really made of? How does the stuff around us escape annihilation in the fearsome heat of the Big Bang? And will we ever be able to understand the very first moments of our universe?

Calmed, patient and friendly. But with zero condescending. Real, honest nice successful communication on an impossible complicated topic.
Of course, for the layman, the book’s achievement is just to provide explanations that barely might leave on us a (false, of course) vague feeling of grasping a remote but very important concept. But if achieved, isn’t this just wonderful? This book does it to a big extent.
