Information overload

Let me first preface by saying i loved this story from start to finish. The Hero of Ages unleashed a wealth of information about the world and turned some speculations i had on their head. It seemed as though it was too much information though.

In the first two stories you slowly learn how the world works and the intricacies of the magic system. Then, in the third book you get non-stop waves of information about both feeling underwhelmed yet oddly satisfied. As soon as something new is discovered, something bigger happens. Then again, and again. For me, it detracted from the overall story because there's little time to digest what you're discovering before the next big thing happens.

I don't think i've felt so much joy and excitement for a main character before. The emotions are real, characters are great, and the mystery keeps you wondering.
Suzy Jackson nailed it! her raspy voice is perfect for Spensa and just pleasant to listen to.

Epic adventure told with perfection

Wow, this story is excellent. Each chapter follows 3 different character perspectives
about the difficult struggles they face living in a space driven society. The overlying plot is a roller coaster of a ride and is extremely well crafted. I couldn't recommend this book enough if you're into Space Sci-Fi.

Jefferson Mays delivers this story how it's meant to be told. He's a patient narrator, leaving some sentences hanging with suspense and it really drives home the emotion the story has. phenomenal job by Jefferson.

I could BEARLY contain myself

Put your paws down for a second and listen. Joe's Ardania adventure continues where he get's himself into some Grizzly situations. He Meats some new friends along the way that Joe Bearly knows, but somehow manages to still Paw his way into danger. This new Cub to the series is delightful to listen to too. Vikas Adams delivers perfection with his Panda like voice. Each character has their own unique personalities that really Maul home, and resonates with each. Don't Hibernate, pick this Grizzly book up and Charge your way through this epic adventure with Joe.

Richter's luck stat is over 9000!

This excellent addition to The Land series almost felt too short, even for being 47 hours long! There's so much excitement around every turn that keeps you hooked until the end. The Easter Eggs and nods to other current events are nothing to sneeze at either. I'd say the only downside to this series would be Richters LUCK stat. Every time it looks like there's no way he's getting out of a situation, something happens in his favor to get him through it with relative ease. It almost feels like he's untouchable in a normal situation/battle.

Aside from Richters insane luck in this series, the story is great and he tackles real world situations which are certainly relatable.

It's something to sneeze at!

Overall = Expectations
Once again this story took a wild journey in a different direction from what I was expecting. This series has become virtually unpredictable which is so enjoyable to listen to and immerse yourself with.

Performance = Narration/Characters
Nick Podehl does a fantastic job of honing in on the different distinct characters. I know instantly who they are and their personality. The characters became more rich in this story as well which adds to the world.

Story = Compelling
The story is very compelling. Even though some of the decisions Rich-ter makes and the luck he has is stupidly overwhelming, it always seems to bite him in the butt and the struggles get real, real quick!

Dang it! ... I liked it again!

Overall = Expectations
I didn't know where the story was going to go after the first book. Sure, book 1 ended with some cliff hangers but they were pretty much answered immediately then the story continued. You could possibly make some predictions going into book 2, but there is so much more to the story then I anticipated.

Performance = Narration/Characters
First, Nick Podehl is excellent. Rich-ter's portrayal is incredible. The new characters you meet in this story are so diverse and interesting.

Story = Compelling
The story went a completely different direction than i was originally anticipating. As a LitRPG you really have to put Rich-ters shoes on and ask, "what would I do in this situation." Sure, there were times where it seemed Rich-ters luck is unbearably great, but sometimes his actions backfire in big ways.

My expectations were that the main character was going to be overpowered, level up insanely fast and win everything but that wasn't the case. The main character has difficult struggles/decisions to make and although has great intuition, sometimes doesn't go his way. It certainly surprised me.

Performance = Narration/Characters
Nick Podehl did a great job with all the characters and accents. I would have liked to see a little more personality for each of the characters, but it didn't take away from the experience. The main characters are very likeable and it's interesting to see how they interact with one another.

Story = Compelling
I really enjoyed this story. I honestly thought it was just getting started. I would have liked to see either a couple more chapters preparing for the next book or a longer epilogue doing the same. It ended on a good note though, i just want more dang it!

Just a Dude, Dungeon...and Bob

So far this series is 3 for 3 with blowing my expectations out of the water. Seriously the vast world, foreshadowing, character/story development and creativity are all top notch. My expectations were immediately ruined when the story steered right and took a new, more interesting path.

Performance = Narration/Characters
Vikas Adams is just amazing. He nails every single character and their personalities to the T. The characters themselves are so unique and each play a pivotal role throughout the series.

Story = Compelling
This book puts the other two to shame by comparison. Don't get me wrong, the other two books are great, but the power, emotion, and drive this book has is truly incredible.
