Caroline Myss continues to help me grow by explaining how to figure out who I am, why I am here and how to become the best me possible. I am grateful for every word, even the hard to accept truths she points out. She is my "no holds barred" soul uplifting, spiritual teacher. Everything is an inside job!

Raw, Funny, Keep Guessing...

Only a few months into discovering the wit, and radical honesty of Chelsea Handler, has an advantage of total emmersion into all things Chelsea. Her stories are unusually, humorous. So much so I found my self asking myself, is she for real??? My favorite parts were the slumber party discovery and her dad's rental property dream or nightmare, depending on who is talking about it. I love that she is who she is, loved or hated no in between.

The information is valuable but there are parts where there is a double voice recording

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

This was more of an information guide and lecture; so there is no story to change.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

The narrative had parts that had a dual voice recording. This caused an unwanted distraction.

Did The Wise Lesbian Guide to Getting Free from Crazy-Making Relationships and Getting on with Your Life inspire you to do anything?

Yes, I was inspired to research the terms "crazy-making relationships."

I would enjoy hearing more from this author and actual lesbians discussing the topic in an ongoing podcast format.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I liked the story line, it was the narration that was upsetting. Nothing against the Ms. Battoe, I have listened to other books she narrated, however this one she needed to sound more maturely innocent rather than teenie-bopper, valley girl.

What do you think your next listen will be?

I will listen to books two and three because I have to complete the series, but hopefully they will at least add a real male voice.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

She was too, teenie-bopper, valley-girl. Need a more mature, yet innocent voice and needed a real male voice doing the male parts.

What character would you cut from Fifty Shades of Grey?

I liked the story line and all of the characters.

This was the first time I downloaded a book without listening or reading the reviews first, lesson learned!
