I’m a golden boy. A genius law student, the heir to the Carson empire, and the dutiful son. Or, at least, that's what it looks like from the outside. Deep inside, I have the urge to set the world on fire. I keep these impulses in check, rarely indulging in mayhem. Until one night of debauchery backfires, and I'm caught by a villain. I bury the entire ordeal with the rest of my skeletons. That is, until that night walks into my classroom in the form of my new professor. Kayden Lockwood.

absolute masterclass in casting & production
Revisado: 03-24-25
This was one of my most highly anticipated releases, and Rina Kent—my forever author who must be protected at all costs—did not disappoint. I absolutely devoured this audiobook. The Rinaverse just keeps on giving, and this darker, grittier extension? I’m OBSESSED. A big part of me will always miss the London crew (but hey, never say never on a surprise cameo, right?), and yet I am all in with this next wave of chaos and Gods.
Performed in duet by a multicast of absolute legends, we’ve got Stephen Dexter as the dangerously swoony Kayden Lockwood and Grayson Owens as our beautifully broken golden boy Gareth Carson. Supporting cast includes Teddy Hamilton reprising Nikolai (iconic), Shane East back as my beloved Brandon King, and fresh new voices to the Rinaverse like Corvin King, Samantha Brentmore, and Vivian LaRue.
Let’s talk Kayden and Gareth—OH. MY. GOD. I fell hard. Kayden is Daddy with a capital D, and Stephen’s performance? Insane. And Grayson as Gareth? He broke me. We’ve only seen glimpses of Gareth before, but nothing prepares you for this level of emotional depth. Gareth’s the guy who always had to be the best, never disappoint his dad, and you just feel the pressure bleeding out of him.
Now look, we already knew Killian Carson was unhinged and chaotic—in the best way—but Gareth? Never in my wildest dreams did I expect this. The layers to him, the secrets, the way Rina unraveled his golden boy image? My jaw was on the floor. And the twists? OH MY GOD. The plot twists and the connections throughout this story are next-level genius. Rina tied it all together in the most masterful way—I honestly can’t get over how clever it was. She’s a bloody mastermind and I adore her.
Kayden cuts straight through the perfect façade, forces Gareth to face his demons—and does it with such intensity and care. This isn’t God of Fury—this is something else, something more intimate, more twisted. The age gap. The tension. The unraveling. The softness. It’s hate, love, more hate, and then that sweet, painful surrender. Chef’s kiss.
This is the darkest book in the Legacy of Gods series. Some scenes gutted me. I wasn’t expecting to cry—but here we are. The emotional weight, the banter, the spice (which is OFF. THE. CHARTS.)—it’s Rina at her best. Honestly, I’d call this her spiciest book to date.
And the cameos? We’re fed. Killian and the Reddit chats had me grinning, Nikolai being his usual cheeky self, and Brandon—my favourite Prince Charming—just brought that quiet strength and heart that I adore.
But I need to say this—Killian stole the show. He basically had all the best lines. For me, he even outshone Nikolai (and that’s saying something!). I’m honestly developing a deep appreciation for Killian after this book, which I didn’t see coming—but I love that. I love that I got to see this side of him, appreciate it, and experience it in all its twisted glory. This is what Rina does. She makes you fall for the villain, every single time.
If you’re new to the world, you can start here, but if you want the full experience, go read God of Malice and The Lies & Truth duet for Gareth’s backstory. There’s also a mysterious thread connecting Kayden to Yulian, who leads the Vipers (a rival gang to the Heathens). And yes, I am absolutely feral waiting for Hunt the Villain—bring on Vaughan Mozorov and Yulien Dimitrev’s dark MM romance!
Also? This audiobook is an absolute masterclass in casting and production. The way these voices were chosen and brought together? Perfection. The direction, the pacing, the performance—flawless. It 1000% deserves an Audie nomination. Honestly, it should sweep every category.
Plot? Perfect. Spice? Scorching. Pacing? Spot on. Banter? Brilliant. This audiobook is everything.
Five stars? Nah. There aren’t enough galaxies for this masterpiece.
Thank you, Rina. You’ve you’re a mastermind.

He’s soooooo Worth it … pure gold
Revisado: 02-13-25
Louise Bay, you’ve done it again! No surprises there, because she’s one of my forever authors, and when I say I fell hard for this story, I mean face-first, no regrets, straight into the Worth Huntington swoon fest!!
Narration? Absolute perfection. Samantha Brentmoor—no words, she’s always phenomenal. I’ve loved her for forever, and she brought Sophia to life like only she can. And Grayson Owens? New to me, but let me tell you, he was the perfect Worth. His voice? Chef’s kiss. These two ate this performance. Every bit of tension, every swoon, every spicy moment—delivered to perfection.
Now, let’s talk about the book because Louise Bay has a special kind of magic. It’s not just about the romance (though hello, that love-at-first-sight, opposites-attract goodness was off the charts!). It’s the brotherhood, the found family, the banter—this woman knows how to write men you’d actually want to hang out with. The way they hype each other up, call each other out, and just exist as mates? It feels real, and it makes you fall even harder.
And Worth Huntington? Oh, this man fell first and hard for Sophia, and I loved every second of it. He was obsessed, and honestly, same. The chemistry? Combustible. The spice? Spicyyyy. And as always with Louise, we get those male POV spicy scenes, which are the best because getting inside the hero’s head just hits different.
This book was like curling up by the fireplace, wrapped in all the warmth and spice—pure romcom gold with heart, depth, and characters you’ll fall for instantly. 10/10, all the stars, all the love.
If you haven’t listened to Grayson & Samantha yet, get on it. And if you love a hero who falls hard and fast, this is your next listen.

Forever in my F1 Era
Revisado: 07-19-24
I’m forever in my Formula One romance era, especially when the leading man is a Brit or an Aussie. And let’s be real, you can’t have Formula One without Aussie and Brit drivers! 🇬🇧🇦🇺
Did Carly write this with Shane East in mind? Because WOW, it was bloody brilliant! Shane’s cheeky, cocky London boy accent and persona had me in stitches.
His performance was full of emotion and vulnerability—signature Shane! 🎧✨ He’s truly the GOAT! 🤌🏻
The banter and bromance between Blake and his mates Theo and Lucas were hilarious. Especially Aussie Theo — Shane totally nailed his Aussie accent!🤌🏻Blake and his two mates had such cool chemistry! And Ella? She’s relatable, sassy, and strong.
Callie Dalton nailed it, bringing out Ella’s vulnerability and sass beautifully.
Bravo on the British and Australian accents, Callie! 👏🇬🇧🇦🇺
This audiobook is helping me out of a hardcore book hangover, and I’m already on my second listen! That’s how much I love it. 🤌🏻🫠
I can’t wait for “Drive Me Wild,” which is Theo’s book. Being an Aussie, I’m crossing my fingers Shane is recast for that one. Putting it out into the universe! 🤞🙏
I inhaled this brilliant story 😍 for all lovers of F1 and broody Brits who like to call you “love,” and who only smile and are vulnerable for her! All the stars—10 out of 10 would recommend!

Long Live The King of the Rinaverse
Revisado: 06-19-24
This emotional and epic finale left me sobbing as I write this and I savoured every moment, making it the most emotional experience of all.
"God of War" provides a perfect ending to the epic saga that began with the RES series. For those new to the Rinaverse and only familiar with the Legacy of Gods series, it's recommended to start with the RES series to fully appreciate the origin stories of Eli and Ava, enriching the overall experience. The grudges, the history that ties the Kings with the Queens-Nash families, that was pledged by Aiden back in the Royal Elites Epilogue all comes full circle in the best way!
We even get a bit of an epilogue “extension” of sorts with insight into the other beloved characters, which Rina masterfully does, leaving the best for last, just like in the Royal Elite series.
I adore Rina, her writing is phenomenal, her writing draws you in so quickly and effortlessly, that you never ever want to leave: The plot and the banter is in true Rina form, off the charts, just like the swoony romance. This is a slow burn with all the feels: you feel everything that these beloved characters do. My heart broke for Ava and Eli: they endured so much, way more than any other couple in all of the Rinaverse and you will never change my mind!
The way I fell in love with Eli King, was fast and hard! He is the swooniest of all Rina’s men and I just knew I would! He is Aiden and Elsa’s son, and I love Aiden and Elsa so much.
Ava beautiful chaos was intoxicating and no wonder Eli fell into her orbit. She is Silver and Cole’s daughter and I adore their story – its my most read and listened to of all the Rinaverse.
As I always do, I trust my unicorn authors and go in with an open mind, and especially as we really don’t know too much about Eli and Ava, so it was so beyond exciting to finally get into their heads.
Eli is Aiden 2.0 with Cole vibes, and Ava is Silver 2.0 with Elsa vibes - the parallels between Cole and Eli are my favourite part of this beautifully broken love story.
Cole’s chapter was a highlight for me, bringing me to laughter and tears within a few sentences. Rina is a writing genius, and this book has altered my brain chemistry to the point where I don’t know how to go on with my life - it’s more than just a book, it’s an experience.
Eli and Ava's love story evoked so much emotion: it is an epic, emotional journey filled with mind-blowing plot twists. Shane and Zara's performances will melt your hearts, giving you ALL THE FEELS and setting your earbuds on fire making this my favourite story in both the Legacy of Gods series and the entire Rinaverse. Despite my love for Landon, Eli won me over completely. "God Of War" audio is phenomenal. Kudos to Rina, Shane, and Zara for their sheer brilliance!
The magic of audio in duet with Shane and Zara is EVERYTHING!! Zara’s performance as Ava was perfect, and Shane, as always, portrayed Eli’s passion and intensity brilliantly. The intensity and depth of emotion in their performances is beyond a master class of brilliance. The raw emotion with which they portray these beloved characters, made me feel everything.
Eli, the supreme book boyfriend, and Ava, the ultimate heroine, saved each other, making this love story so profound. Eli is the King on my board and Ava is his Queen and no one will ever change my mind.
If you loved "God of Fury," this will surpass it on so many levels – you will never change my mind!
I loved how all the characters came back, and the group chats were a highlight as always. The closure for fan-favourites was perfect, making this the perfect end to the Rinaverse.
I can’t wait for what Rina has in store next. Until then, I’ll keep revisiting this world that has carved a deep and cozy place in my heart and soul. Never saying goodbye to these amazing characters.
I’m eternally grateful for this audiobook - There are not enough stars in the galaxy for how amazing this book is. Long live the King of the Rinaverse!

Vicious Prince" by the phenomenal Rina Kent, performed in duet narration by my favourite Brit, the legendary Shane East, and the incredible Kiera Stevens. These two are in such a phenomenal rhythm in their performances, bringing a unique and distinct voice to each character. Their authenticity shines through, making the audio play territory with duet narration an unforgettable experience. I cannot express how much I adore them in this series.
With each book in the Royal Elite series, I fall more in love with the couples, and "Vicious Prince" is no exception. Ronan Astor, the funny guy, transforms into a hot damn force to be reckoned with. And Teal Van Doren? She's a breath of fresh air – bold, strong, and unapologetically herself. Their unlikely pairing brings a dynamic and compelling story that kept me hooked from start to finish.
The development of Teal and Ronan's relationship is captivating, far from your average marriage-of-convenience trope. Their encounters slowly unravel layers of hate to reveal a deeper connection, showcasing Rina Kent's masterful storytelling. And let's not forget the bromance between all the Four Horsemen, that adds a delightful touch of humour to the mix – it's dark, it's hilarious, and it's everything.
In "Vicious Prince," Rina once again delivers characters with depth and complexity, making them relatable and endearing despite their flaws. All the stars in the galaxy are not enough to express how much I loved this audiobook!

My Roman Empire
Revisado: 04-07-24
"Steel Princess" by Rina Kent performed by my favourite Brit, the legendary Shane East and incredible Kiera Stevens on the mic is an absolute blast! This series is like finding buried treasure for audiobook lovers, especially with Shane and Kiera's brilliant chemistry bringing Aiden and Elsa to life in such an authentic way. Seriously, it's like we're listening to a full-on audio play!
One of my favourite things is nicknames in books and every time Shane says sweetheart, I swoon and melt into puddles. He is Aiden in my mind and Kiera is Elsa to perfection. I cannot express how perfect the casting is in this series -Shane and Kiera are EVERYTHING!
I especially loved that we get to delve deep into Aiden's psyche, and let me tell you, it's a wild ride! From his dark past to his unexpected feelings for Elsa, there's so much more to this brooding bad boy than meets the eye.
With dual POV, we got a front-row seat to the inner workings of Aiden's mind, and boy, was it fascinating! He's not just your run-of-the-mill jerk; he's a complex character with layers upon layers of depth. It's like peeling back the layers of an onion – each revelation more surprising than the last. And can we talk about the unexpected twist of him trying to protect Elsa from her past? Who would have thought that beneath his tough exterior lies a heart of gold? It's moments like these that make you realize there's so much more to every character than meets the eye:
"A genuine heart-stopping smile lifts his lips. “I’ll always come back for you, sweetheart. You’re a queen, not a pawn.”
Then he’s out of the door, leaving me to pick my heart up off the floor.
So, about Aiden's possessiveness and jealousy... They're like the hot sauce in romance novels – spicy, irresistible, and deliciously intense. Aiden takes it to the extreme, being all protective and possessive, but Elsa's not one to take any nonsense from him. She gives as good as she gets, and it's hilarious when she calls him out on his antics:
"Then we’re over,” she says with more strength than needed.
I push a stray blonde strand behind her ear, taking my time to feel the warmth of her skin against mine.
“That’s where you’re wrong, sweetheart,” I murmur near her mouth, “Being enemies doesn’t change the fact that you’re f**king mine.”
Now, Aiden being a possessive is explained, through the glimpse into his past says a lot about his behaviour, but it doesn't make it any less intense. And Elsa's not immune to the green-eyed monster either. But together, they're like fireworks – explosive and impossible to tear your eyes away from:
"King has no filter whatsoever. He treats you like I’ve never seen him treat anyone else.”
“And how is that?”
“Like he wants to shield you from the world. I don’t think you even notice it, but sometimes, he looks at you like he can’t breathe without you. And believe me, that’s not the King everyone knows.”
And, speaking of the heat level in this book... It's off the charts! Five flames out of five, no question. Aiden's dominance and Elsa's fiery spirit make for some seriously steamy scenes that'll leave you reaching for a cold drink:
“I know I don’t take it easy on you. I’d say I’m sorry, but I’m not. I can’t control myself with you, Elsa. I tried and it’s impossible.” He grins. “I can, however, run you baths and give you massages.”
We also get a deeper glimpse into the rest of the Four Horsemen, Xander Knight, Ronan Astor, Cole Nash as well as Elsa’s best friend Kimberly Reed. Each of them brings something special to the table, and I can't get enough of their individual quirks and charms. Whether it's Cole's quiet strength, Xander's blend of lightheartedness and depth, or Ronan's humor and wit, they all leave me eagerly craving more insights into their lives. And let's not forget about Kim – she's the epitome of the perfect best friend! And, we've got a new kid on the block named Knox, who's stirring things up after transferring from another private school. And let's not forget about Aiden's ex-flame Silver Queens and his father Jonathan – talk about adding fuel to the fire!
Elsa's Aunt and Uncle, who raised her, play pivotal roles too, adding layers of depth to her backstory. And can we just take a moment to appreciate how everyone in this book is harbouring secrets? It's like a game of cat and mouse, with revelations waiting around every corner.
With Rina's masterful storytelling, each character feels like they're stepping right off the page. They're not just supporting roles – they're essential pieces of the puzzle, weaving together a narrative that's as complex as it is gripping.
Secrets are the name of the game here, especially when it comes to Elsa's mysterious past. And that cliffhanger ending? For lovers of the most possessive & jealous alphas, Aiden King is top of that list, and Rina has knocked it out of the park once again, and with Shane and Kiera bringing their A-game, this is an audio experience not to be missed!

Phenomenal does not even come close
Revisado: 04-05-24
This story has altered my brain chemistry. Rina absolutely knocked this one for a 6 — to use cricket speak (me being Aussie and all)
This is the most emotional of the series which is a big deal because GOR had me all up in my feels with Mia’s story. I’m not a massive reader of MM but I love all the ones my favourite Brit Shane East has performed and this story is by far the best I’ve read/listened to — kudos to Rina on her exceptional storytelling and for Landon King stealing the show once again. I adore this series and this universe and especially those King and Royal Elites men and their gorgeous gals!
The audiobook is phenomenal— Shane East and Teddy Hamilton ARE EVERYTHING and the lovely ladies are the cherry on top of this deliciously decadent story— the duet narration just takes this to a platinum standard in audio and Easthouse just seems to produce the best Duet production and as an avid audiobook listener I listen to a lot of duet but their engineer weaves some magic because the clarity and crisp production makes it feel you are right there with the cast….and that cast:…wow! There are not enough superlatives to describe how phenomenal Shane and Teddy were in bringing Bran and Niko to life…I’m not a massive reader of MM, but this story and their performances has pushed this book in my top 3 listens this year without question— it deserves a galaxy of stars!

Long Live The King
Revisado: 02-06-24
"Reign Of A King" by Rina Kent – an absolute icon in the audiobook realm! Narrated in duet style by the legendary Shane East as Jonathan King and the enchanting Kiera Stevens as Aurora Harper, this audiobook is a ride like no other that'll keep you hooked from start to finish!
Shane East, my all-time favourite Brit, breathes life into Jonathan King with his iconic narration, making every word a delight to the ears. The plot is a wild ride of power plays, desire, and forbidden love that takes unexpected twists and turns. You'll find yourself on the edge of your seat, eagerly awaiting what happens next. And yes, those "Good Girl" moments are flawlessly delivered by Shane East in a way only he can master. Keira Stevens is a total goddess and I adore her British accent and really shines as the feisty “wild one” to Shane’s ‘Tyrant” Daddy Jonathan King. Kiera’s Aurora really doesn’t make it easy for him, and does a phenomenal job of matching Shane’s Jonathan energy in the performance. Aurora is strong and independent, but has a tragic past and learns she needs Jonathan’s darkness and his punishments and finds solace in being trapped in his clutches and Jonathan can’t resist her: she challenges him like no one ever has and he absolutely loves it. The kink and chemistry are un paralleled, Rina knows how to serve true BDSM and does it so well, and in true Rina style, gives us the anti-hero we never knew we needed.
Jonathan King – the epitome of alpha with a dash of enigma! He set the standard for me, and we now know where Aiden gets all his possessiveness and "burn the world for you" vibes? Thank Jonathan for that legacy.
So grab your favourite beverage, settle in, and let the magic of Shane & Keira’s narration sweep you away. Trust me, this is one audiobook experience so iconic, you'll want to relive over and over again! All the stars!

obsessed with those King men &Landon King is proof
Revisado: 02-04-24
When I tell you I am obsessed with those King men, Landon King is proof!
The audiobook is performed in duet narration by my favourite Brit, the legendary Shane East and one of my favourite Audio Queens: the delectable Mackenzie Cartwright and wow: these two are phenomenal as Landon and Mia. I loved everything about this book and Landon is my number one followed closely by Brandon, and I know I will love Eli too because: those King men are my kryptonite!
Landon is a psychopath, but oh so sophisticated and yes he brings the chaos, but that was before he met his match in his Little Muse: Mia Sokolov who is a perfect balance of sass and loyal to the end: she is someone you want in your corner. She carries a deep trauma that has caused her to be mute. She’s out for vengeance and his name is Landon King, and they are both out to ruin each other, but what they don’t count on is how much they will complete each other. The chase was perfect, Mia didn’t make it easy for him, their banter and dark sarcasm had me chuckling so much.
Landon's endearing nickname for Mia as his 'little muse' added a sweet touch to their relationship. Mia's choice of 'The Devil Lord' in her phone for Landon added a deliciously dark edge to their interactions.
Let's not forget Landon's gestures, like learning sign language for Mia before they were even on civil terms and taking empathy lessons from Brandon, showcase his depth and make him swoon-worthy in every sense with the best redemption arc of all the MMC in this series.
Landon’s inner monologue was EVERYTHING! Don’t even get me started on the banter in the group chats with Remi, Eli and Brandon. Landon is cut from the same cloth as the other delicious King men: Levi, Aiden and of course the OG Jonathan - we get some cameos from all three of these delicious Daddy’s and Shane East absolutely owns them all! His performance was absolutely flawless and I’m always impressed at how he can transition from all those voices so smoothly yet make them all have their own distinct voices - I love him as Remi, Shane’s timing in delivering the funny punchlines is impeccable.
As for Mackenzie, she absolutely owns the Bratva women in this series, along with those gorgeous Elites Queens, and her British accent is amazing. She too is brilliant at transitioning between the voices of all the female characters seamlessly. I’m such a big fan, and I love the chemistry she and Shane have together and when it’s in duet narration, it does feel like listening to an audio play with way more than 2 VO actors performing.
The production quality in this book is stepped up a notch, and that’s a testament to Easthouse Productions and the engineer: they seem to have a proven formula that means you will always have the most clear and crisp audio experience.
Rina’s writing is brilliant and I always devour her stories and what I love most is the equal parts plot and spice in every book, and the spice in this is off the charts. Rina is an expert in making us fall for the anti-hero and I am all about it, especially when she writes Brits. Rina’s men are the ultimate over the top possessive “you’re my property” dominant, “burn the world for you” alphas with a heart of gold but only for their women who are strong and never fail to bring them to their knees and I devour every single one. This is a must listen for fans of dark college romance! All the stars!

He was once my best friend, now he’s my worst enemy. Xander Knight is heartbreakingly beautiful. Ridiculously popular. Brutally cruel. He’s a knight, but won’t do any saving.

brilliant story & duet narration that blew my mind
Revisado: 01-02-24
Just finished a re-listen of the audiobook 'Black Knight' by Rina Kent, and WOW! Shane East as Xander Knight and Keira Stevens as Kimberley delivered a duet narration that blew my mind bringing these characters to life in ways I never imagined! The writing is incredibly emotional and tragic, tackling dark themes with masterful skill and surprising plot twists.
I wasn't prepared for the depth of emotions this book unleashed –This emotional rollercoaster truly had ALL the feels – I devoured every moment, not wanting it to end.
A tale of beautiful, broken soulmates torn apart by their parents’ sins, yet bound by fated love and shared trauma. Xander’s confessions and Kim’s tortured soul left me breathless. And that plot twist? Utterly unexpected! Shane East & Keira Stevens performed like the absolute stars they are and were beyond phenomenal – Shane and Keira had me swooning so hard — Xander and Kimberley live in my soul. I adore Rina’s writing and boy did she tear my heart out with this one. Easily my favourite in the series; Rina Kent’s writing is pure perfection. Galaxy, take note – not enough stars for this masterpiece. Book hangover in full swing, and no regrets.
