Thrilling and Twisty!
Revisado: 04-21-25
Be prepared for anything when you pick up Twisted Endings by Samyra Alexander. The unexpected surprises in each story made this an absolute page turner. Just the titles alone let you know you’re in for an electrifying experience:
• Family Meeting
• New Year, New Me…Now What?
• If You’re Reading This Letter
• Crappy Grandmammy
• He Hurt Me. How Could He?
• The Motivational Speaker
• Exposed
I loved how each story was uniquely different while having a few things in common, such as The Hamilton Psychiatric Facility! I had several laugh out loud moments especially when reading the Crappy Grandmammy. (My favorite) So, if you must, check the trigger warnings, and brace yourself for a twisty, thrill ride.

I love a Good Psychopath!
Revisado: 03-02-25
I loved The Psychopath Next Door!!! I feel as if I just binged watched 5 seasons of Fear Thy Neighbor. Fiona Smith is new to the neighborhood and all hell is about to break loose. She moves in next door to a sweet family, they become fast friends and the sinister games begin. I am fascinated with fast paced psychological thrillers and The Psychopath Next Door did not let me down. The audiobook and engaging narrator (Imogen Church) created an amazing listening experience and I thrilled to read more from this author.

Moving & Prophetic!
Revisado: 12-29-24
Parable of the Sower, written in 1993 by Octavia E. Butler, begins the year 2024 in a dystopian post-apocalyptic Los Angeles. This science fiction novel depicts America’s brutal descent into madness. Parable of the Sower is an extremely grim and relevant read that’s so disturbingly close to what our future realities could one day be.
