This book inspires me all the more to live my own Christian life fully devoted to the Lord. There is so much to learn from Bonhoeffer‘s life, and Eric Mataxas has captured it fully and accurately. We learn about the evil that human hearts are capable of. And we also learn of the great good.

Everyone needs to read this book!

I have long talked about a sense that men were looked upon as lesser beings in today’s world. The much needed women’s liberation movement has now swung the pendulum out of balance the other way. Today’s men struggle with a purpose void. Our boys are at a disadvantage, and they need their fathers! When our boys suffer, so do our girls. Not to mention the current epidemic of suicide. William Farrell and John Gray articulate the problem and the solution so well!
