STELLAR STORY AND PHENOMENAL PERFORMANCE

I am SOOOOOO in love with Samantha Chase’s latest release Teasing You. I have read Teasing you once and have listened to it twice since its release.
Teasing you is the 2nd book in Ms. Chase’s newest series The Donovan’s (Sweetbriar Ridge). And in my honest opinion, this series is wonderful. The character development which started in Kiss Me book 5 in Ms. Chase’s The Donovan’s (Laurel Bay). All of the lead characters is these series have been kick butt, get the job done. But they each have had some small flaws as well.
The main characters are in this book are Reid Baylor and Ashlynn Donovan. Reid, is a firefighter newly transplanted, or rather re-transplanted in Sweetbriar Ridge. His family moved around a lot growing up, but Sweetbriar Ridge was the place he knew he always wanted to return to and plant roots in. Reid’s flaw, worry of career and advancement over, worry of a woman he professes to be falling in love with. Ashlynn is a hair stylist in Sweetbriar Ridge, a very well-loved stylist. Well, maybe not so much by EVERYbody. Sorry Ladies, I cannot give anything away. Ashlynn’s flaw, she has abandonment issues, rightly so, but again, I cannot give anything away about why. You will need to read the books in the series to find out why.
I love watching these “enemies”. well in Ashlynn’s mind anyway, come together. When Reid and his family lived in Sweetbriar Ridge the first time, there was an “incident”, which lead Ashlynn to consider Reid as an enemy. And wouldn’t you know it, the first time Reid returned, the same thing happened AGAIN!!! However, Reid is determined to get Ashlynn to really see him, and like him!
When there is a fire in Sweetbriar Ridge thought to be arson and Ashlynn is being considered a suspect and needs Reid for moral support, he abandons her.
Okay, Ladies, I have to stop here. I do not want to give anything away. I will say this, it takes some MAJOR groveling for Reid to return to Ashlynn and her family’s good graces!!!
I was gifted with a copy of this wonderful book for my thoughts and opinions of the book. I LOVED it so much, as I indicated above, I purchased the audio of the book, and have listened to it twice, since it hit my phone.
The narrator that performed Tease Me was Carly Robins. She performs a good many of Ms. Chase’s books, probably because she does such stellar performances. I can always count on Ms. Robins to bring any book to life for me.

Comfort listening at its best!!!

I will not tell a lie, as soon as I found out that this book was in the works, I could not wait for it to hit my Kindle. I CANNOT express how much I LOVED this book. I loved it so much that as soon as I finished reading it, I purchased the audio version and have finished it as well. It was freaking wonderful seeing William Montgomery and the rest of the family members of the Montgomery clan as they have raised families of their own.
As I mentioned above, I have purchased the audio version and have listened to this wonderful book as well. I wanted to finish it before writing this review.
Listening to Narrator Kevin T. Collins perform this book… Well let me put it like this, for myself, it was like sitting in front of a fire with family and friends listening to how their lives have been going. I just love it!! Totally the warm and fuzzy feelings for sure!
I really enjoyed finding all the cookies, ie: a character from another Samantha Chase series. Maybe just maybe we will be seeing more of this character in the future. And from what I have read, a possible new series as well.
I will say this Ms. Chase has kept up her pristine accomplishment of phenomenal Christmas stories. I my honest opinion, Ms. Chase has knack of writing that perfect Christmas story. I hope to see this one made into a Hallmark movie as well.
Because of my love of reading romance books, I was gifted with a copy for my thoughts and opinions of the story. As you have already read above, the book is spectacular! So, what are you waiting for? Spectacular performance of a phenomenal book!

If this is the way the Sweetbriar Ridge Donovans starts, we the readers are in for a spectacular ride.
Loving You is the first book in The Donovans: Sweetbriar Ridge and as I said above, what a spectacular beginning.
I absolutely LOVE Jade and Levi’s story. I really enjoyed watching first the friendship develop between Jade and Levi, then the love. I especially loved watching the relationship between Silas, Jade’s son, and Levi develop.
I loved reading all the secondary plots within the book as well. But, I think one of my favorite parts was when Jade recommends a book to a customer, that just happens to be a book from my favorite series written by Ms. Chase.
I loved all of the characters….LIE!!! There were a couple that I did not particularly like, Levi’s mother for one. Sorry Ladies, I will not give anything away. You will have to read this fabulous book and let us know if you feel the same.
Because of my absolute love of reading romances, I was gifted with a copy of this fabulous book for my opinions and thoughts of the book.
I want to put it like this. Since I received the book, I have read it twice, and bought the audio of the book and have listened to it as well and LOVED every single word!!!
Speaking of the audio…
Carly Robins as freaking usual has done a spectacular job performing this book!! She ALWAYS brings the book to life for me.

AWESOME CONTINUATIONS TO A PHENOMENAL SERIES!!!

Ok, Ms. Chase, you win!! I did not think any book could knock my favorite in this series, Save Me (Book 3 of this series) out of the top spot. Kiss Me won the top spot in this series for me because you see, Ryker Masella is a tattoo artist like my son, and at the time of the release he was getting ready to marry his now beautiful wife. I sort of fell hard for Ryker and Ryleigh’s story. So, back to my thoughts of Kiss Me: Book 5 of The Donovans (Laurel Bay) series, I! LOVED!! THIS!!! BOOK!!!! I loved is so much that as of this moment in time, I have read it twice, pre-ordered the audio version from Audible, and have listened to it twice as well!!
Kiss Me and this rest of this series reminds me why I love Ms. Chase’s writing so much, the reason also makes me a bit envious, the larger than large family comradery that takes place in her books.
I love how Mrs. Donovan was constantly trying to find matches for her children, and how it irritated the heck out of all her children. I wonder what she is going to do now, that all her children are paired up with their future???
Ok, on to Patrick and Marissa. How can 2 people be so afraid to tell each other the truth?!? Yes, I understand it was a fake marriage, at first anyway, but why???!!! I really enjoyed watching them come out of their so-called shells and finally realize that their marriage was real. I will say this, Patrick moves towards the end REALLY worried me. I could have backfired. Sorry Ladies, I refuse to give anything away…
I think the reason I love book series so much is the fact that we sometimes get to see how previous characters are doing.
And, even though this is the final book of this series, I have discovered, that the series WILL go on with another branch of the Donovan family. YAY!!!!

PHENOMENAL "ENEMIES TO LOVERS" BOOK!!!!

OMG!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book!!!!!
Charm Me is the 4th book in Samantha Chase’s The Donovan’s series. This whole series is phenomenal, and I have loved every book thus far!! I have to say with true honesty, Charm me has taken over top spot for me in this series.
I have to put this out there first, in all honesty, there was something about Jamie Donovan from the previous books I did not know if I truly liked. He was just too flippant, too immature, in my opinion. Yes, I SHOULD have known Ms. Chase would have changed my opinion and would have made Jamie just as lovable as the rest of the Donovan characters, and she most definitely did, in a huge way.
We met the heroine Fallon Murphy in previous books in the Donovan series. The competition between Fallon and Jamie while growing up, WOW!! I have to say, I knew she was going to be Jamie’s downfall in love.
I LOVED watching both characters grow into the people they were meant to be in this book. Fallon took to hits to the ego in the beginning of this book, making her doubt and question herself. When Jamie found newborn Asher on his doorstep… Yeah, there was no way in heaven he was equipped to take care of a baby. Enter the rest of the Donovan clan. I was so proud of Jamie and Fallon, watching them grow into the people they were meant to be.
Because of my love of reading romance, I was gifted with a copy of this phenomenal book for my thoughts and opinions. As I stated above, Charm Me is a phenomenal book and has become my favorite in the series. I loved this book so much I bought the Audible version of it as well. And YES, I have already listened to it!!!
Carly Robins performed the narration of this book, she did a stellar job bringing this book to life for me. While I was listening, I could “see” in my mind each and every scene. Kudos Ms. Robins!!

THE AWESOMENESS OF THIS SERIES JUST DOES NOT END!!

I cannot tell a lie. First off, I, like many Samantha Chase fans, have waited and prayed for this book to first be written and then be released for a VERY long time. I freaking cheered my butt off when I heard Ms. Chase was going to finally write Mick’s story and it was going to be a part of an anthology. I could not wait for it to release and hit my Kindle. Yes, it was short, but Mick and Sienna story was phenomenal!!! I loved every word. But I thought Mick and Sienna had more to say so I still wanted more! You see Ms. Chase’s Band on the Run (including This is Our Song from her Shaughnessy Brothers series) is one of my ALL-TIME favorite series of books. Ms. Chase must have been read my mind and felt the same way, because she rewrote and expanded the book into a full novel.
YES!!!!! Freaking music to my ears, excuse the pun, well sort of. You see I also bought the audio version of the book as well. I was ecstatic when I found out the book was going to be narrated by Chris Kipiniak, Julia Motyka the same narrators that performed the other books in the series. Mr. Kipiniak and Ms. Motyka were phenomenal bringing this book to life for me as always. I love Mr. Kipiniak’s range of different voices. I could pretty much tell which character was speaking throughout the book. Yes, this matters to me because we got to revisit all the characters from both the Shaughnessy Brothers series and the Band on the Run series. And I absolutely loved catching up with these two families. Yes, I consider the characters from the band family!
Now, to “the rest of the story”, lol…
“One More Chance” is the perfect title for this book. You see, fate has stepped in and given Mick and Sienna a second chance at a love, a REAL love!
The back cover says it all: “Twenty-three years ago, he hopped on a bus to pursue his dreams in the music business.
But that meant leaving behind the girl who could never really be his.” Or so Mick thought.
Sienna was Mick’s best friend’s little sister, and back then, only 16 years old. Mick never forgot Sienna and what could have been. And Sienna NEVER forgot Mick, always thinking “what if”.
Then, fate steps in and they see each other again after 23 years and the attraction re-ignites hotter and deeper than ever before. Mick and Sienna spend two weeks together while Sienna is on vacation, and they both catch up on their lives. During this time, they are both falling for the other again, but reluctant to admit their feeling afraid they will spook the other…. (Stupid people!!! COMMUNICATION!!!!)
This book will bring out ALL the emotions, laughter, happiness, aggravation, as well as sadness. Yes, the whole range, and yes, I used quite a few tissues. In my opinion, Ms. Chase did/does this very well, bringing emotions out in the reader.
I was gifted with a copy of this book because of my love of reading romance, and for my thoughts and opinions of the book. In my honest opinion… I LOVED this book so much I have read it cover to cover, bought the audio of it and listened to it twice, trying to see if I missed anything, no, I didn’t, and yes, I lied, I just loved it so much I wanted to listen again.

This series just gets better and better!!!

First, FREAKING PHENOMENAL!!!!!
Cannon is Book 6 in author Sawyer Bennett’s latest series, The Pittsburgh Titans. In my honest opinion, this series just keeps getting better and better. I am a “Yinzer” born and raised, and when I heard that author Sawyer Bennett was going to write a series located in Pittsburgh, I could not wait to get my eyes on it, and begin reading.
When you open this book and begin to read be ready for an emotional roller coaster ride, (Ms. Bennett is so extraordinary at writing these types of stories).
I love, Love, LOVE Cannon and Ava’s story. Although, there were a few times I wanted to reach into my Kindle and slap some sense into that man’s head!!! Don’t have time, my Aunt Edith’s donkey!!! I wanted to kick his donkey every single time he said and thought those words!! In my opinion, he was darn lucky Ava’s feelings were as strong as they were and did not give up on Cannon. I really loved watching these two irrevocably fall for each other.
I was gifted with my copy of this phenomenal book because of my love of romance, especially hockey romance, and for my thoughts and opinions of this book. I love this book so much, that since receiving my copy, I have read it cover to cover, and have listened to it twice. Yep, I have the audio of this book as well.
Speaking of audio… Stephen Dexter and Mackenzie Cartwright are the narrators of this book. They just absolutely brought this story to life for me. I could see the story in my mind while I was listening.

THE AWESOMENESS OF THIS SERIES JUST DOES NOT END!!

The Pittsburgh Titans series by author Sawyer Bennett is freaking phenomenal!!! And Ms. Bennett’s latest book in the series has lived up to the hype. Bravo Ms. Bennett, simply Bravo!!
When Drake McGinn was first introduced in Book 1 of the series, Baden, I knew right off the bat that the character Drake McGinn was going to be an important character. He just had the type of personality that author Sawyer Bennett is famous for writing about. A character everyone was going to love. I know I certainly do, especially with that chip on his shoulder, yes, I know he is totally intitled to that chip. Sorry Ladies, I refuse to give anything away. READ the book it is totally worth the time.
I was extremely happy when Ms. Bennett paired Drake up with the owner of the team, Brienne Norcross. She definitely needed a good man in her life after losing her brother when the Titans plane went down. She needs Drake and his wonderful boys to make her step back into life, step away from work and finally live. The chemistry between these two is volcanic.
I loved watching the relationship between grow into love. A love neither of them saw coming.
Because of my love of romance, especially “hockey romance” I was gifted with a copy of this wonderful book in exchange for my thoughts and opinions of the book.
I loved this book so much, I have read it twice, and listened to it 3 times. Yep, I have the audio version as well, I loved it that much.
Speaking about the audio version, narrators Aiden Snow, and Maxine Mitchell absolutely bring this story to life. Which is why I have listened to it 3, yes 3 times. I just can’t get enough.

Forgiven by Love, Tillie and Coen's story

Coen is the 4th book in Sawyer Bennett’s Pittsburgh Titans series and in my opinion, this author is doing something that few authors can do. You see, this series started out PHENOMENAL, and through each and every book is this series, Ms. Bennett has held that bar very high and is has not dropped in the least with any of these books thus far and with her latest addition, Coen, that bar may have even raised a bit.
I absolutely loved this book, and I could not put it down once it hit my Kindle, it was another all-nighter for me. Oh, but it was SOOOOO worth not getting any sleep. I loved this book so much, in fact, I have acquired the audio version as well and have listened to it twice as well!
The narrators Aaron Shedlock, and Lucy River…WOW!!! I could listen to these two for days. I think these two are two of my favorite narrators of all time. They both just have the timing that keeps me listening. That is probably why I have already listened to it twice. Hmmm, I think I am going to listen again, and see if I missed anything. Who am I kidding, I have to go listen again. I love this story that much.
Coen Highsmith is suffering from guilt, BIG time. Coen is not only suffering from survivors’ guilt (one of 3 to not be on the plane that crashed), but he committed a sin (in his eyes) against his friend, his teammate, his brother and because of the crash, he can never ask for or be forgiven. Because of this, Coen tells management that he is quitting the team, and moves to the mountains to a teammates cabin.
Enter Tillie Marshall, Coen’s artistic neighbor that owns the property next door. Their first encounter is while Tillie and her best friend are out hiking. Coen is a total jerk when they meet and tells her to stay off his land. Second encounter? EVEN WORSE!! Tillie is going to build an art studio on her property and is planning on putting in a driveway on the easement between the two properties. Over Coen’s dead body, and he files a lawsuit against Tillie, blocking her plans. Third encounter, yep, still at each other’s throats, only this time… some tongues get involved…
I loved watching these two turn the corner and first become friends, then lovers, then…
Favorite secondary character: Chip. Why? You ask? Well, sorry I will not give anything away, BUT I will say this. I think Chip starts to prove to Coen himself, that he is not as bad as he thinks he is, that he is worthy of trust.
Because of my love of romance book, especially for some reason, hockey romance, and for my opinions and thoughts on this book, I was gifted with a copy of this fabulous book.

Sawyer Bennett shoot’s and scores…AGAIN!!!

FLIPPING PHENOMENAL!!!

Gage Heyward has stolen my heart and very possibly moved Baden out of my top spot as favorite character in this phenomenal series!!!

I am a “Yinzer”, born and raised in Pittsburgher. When I heard that Sawyer Bennett was going to locate her newest series in my beautiful city, I was ecstatic!! I was quite upset she had to kill off my hockey team to do it, I still knew I wanted to read this series!! You see, I love Ms. Bennett’s books. She, in my opinion, is one of the best romance writers out there, and I know when one of her books hits my Kindle, I know from experience, that I am not going to move for a few hours!! Her books are just that great.

Oh, my goodness, Gage and Jenna, their story, I am having trouble putting my thoughts into words, I just loved them so much. My heart just melts the way Gage sees people, always the good in them. The way he understands them and what they are going through. The way he SEES Jenna, the strong person that she is. Gage understands people. He has a way of understanding how they tick.

Jenna is a bit broken emotionally. She is a hero in her own right, but her heroic act almost cost her, her very life when she saved Chelsey from that fire. She definitely has both emotional and physical scars from that day. The way I look at it, she is WAY better without Paul, and phenomenally better with Gage.

Okay, I love, Love, LOVE this whole book. Put it this way, I have read it once, listened to it fully twice (yes I have the Audible version as well), currently listening for the third time, I love it so much. However, there is one particular spot where I started… STOP, I cannot give anything away. Sorry Readers.

The narrators Lance Greenfield and Virginia Rose do a phenomenal job performing this book. They, and Ms. Bennett, brought me to tears a number of times. They brought the story further to life for me. Kudos Mr. Greenfield and Ms. Rose.

Thank you, Ms. Bennett, for sharing your wonderful talents with your readers. Your books do it for me EVERY time I read or listen to one.
