The golden rule of shallow flings is not to get attached, right? Well, Havana Ramos broke it. Big time. There's just something about Tate Devereaux that pulls at her. Assertive, compelling, and self-assured, the Alpha cat shifter pushes every one of her best buttons. Like really, really hard. Having overheard an enlightening conversation, she knows he won't give her more than a fling-something, to be fair, he'd told her well in advance. If she doesn't want her heart to get bruised, it's time to end what little they have.

The story was five stars. Bailey and Aspen were hilarious. The problem I have with listening to this and the first book is narrator. When characters from The Phenoix and Mercury books were brought into these, it really got to the way the dominant makes sounded like pansies. Don't get me started about Greta's voice. I love the characters from this new series however this probably will be my last audiobook if Samantha Cook is continued to be the narrator.

it was nice to see her continuation of the shifter books. I would have to say I did not enjoy this book as much but I think it's basically because of the narrator. I personally like the narrator from the Mercury pack and the Phoenix pack books betterespecially since she's able to distinguish better the characters. loved having the characters from both the Mercury pack and the Phoenix pack in this book but again Taryn and shyla's voice was just not the same

I really did like the story and the cliffhanger ending however I could not listen to the audiobook and had to read it instead. I've had this issue with this narrator before. it is very hard to know when she's speaking for each character because there is no change in her voice. would like her to listen to Julie Whalen who does an awesome job and learn from her
