I've been around the financial world and it is quite interesting. the fact that there are many types of frauds is not surprising, but that people can't pin someone like foster for such a long time is a problem. value of money which is time is dismissed when it's not yours.

Better than I thought it was going to be

The author dances around being a journalist thus impartial versus being a woman, a feminist, a Westerner, an individual, an investigator, a political oracle, a member of the oppressed, and a member of the elite as she tries to make her points.

the author freaks me out a bit because I don't know if I can trust her work, not that need to because I lived in Turkey for 13+ years and speak Turkish at a native level. I don't know if I can trust her because she has brought up some very good points in her book about Turkey but then she calls the United States a liberal democracy which thank God it has never been and will never be. US is a constitutional republic. This is very basic, yet she misses it, but she knows Adnan Menderes' upbringing quite well.

Self contradictory at times but, as I said it is much better than I thought it was going to be. Turkey is not an easy subject.

You start from 0 then you go into negatives, then go into positives and zig zag billions of times back and forth and back and forth, and you stop and 0 again and get off the ride. in the end, you went nowhere, got nothing! the whole thing is a gigantic self defeating argument!

Honesty about filth

I liked the book a lot. I dont usually read stuff like this because they tend to turn to jokes like Jenna Jameson's autobiography. I never read that yet it made itself into an episode of House MD. This is honestly written and hoestly read. Well, as honest as it could be I guess. I think if it were to be made into a TV series or streaming series or a movie, it would be well recieved. This memoir is a shitshow but an honest shitshow. Last time I felt what I'm feeling right now, I had just finished watching Blow starring Johnny Depp.
