Historia
Maddie Fynn is a shy high school junior, cursed with an eerie intuitive ability: she sees a series of unique digits hovering above the foreheads of each person she encounters. Her earliest memories are marked by these numbers, but it takes her father's premature death for Maddie and her family to realize that these mysterious digits are actually death dates, and just like birthdays, everyone has one.

One big problem
Revisado: 03-24-18
This story was great except for one big nagging issue. She could have both cleared her name and proven her ability at any time.
*kind of spoiler* (not really)
Is she can tell a death date from a photo; shouldn’t the FBI show her photos of known victims to test her? If they knew the date of victims murder then she could prove herself right away!
It doesn’t even have to be a morbid photo. She could tell that boys date from a regular photo of him in a baseball uniform. They are the FBI they have files of murder victims and she could get them right every time.
That nagged at me while reading this. It made it very hard to enjoy it. The FBI agents were very stupid. That kept me from enjoying it.

Historia
Nothing ever happens to Charlotte and Frankie. Their lives are nothing like the lives of the girls they read about in their YA novels. They don't have flowing red hair, and hot romantic encounters never happen - let alone meeting a true soul mate. But when Charlotte decides to write down everything that happens during their sophomore year - to prove that nothing happens and there is no plot or character development in real life - she's surprised to find that being 15 isn't as boring as she thought.

Not for everyone
Revisado: 11-09-17
This novel is both stream of consciousness and slice of life. Both of these make for a great narrative if your willing to work for it. At it’s core this book is a celebration of normality and what we take for granted as normal. This concept is enjoyable for me to read about because I’m the target audience.
Most high school stories will build up an extraordinary narrative involving life and death scenarios; not this book. These characters are the people you already know. This setting is the one you’ve already been in. This offers a new perspective on the importance of being average.
This book celebrates real life. When you get down to it, life is a lot of nothing.

Historia
For high-school senior Celeste Watkins, every day is a brutal test of bravery. And Celeste is scared. Alienated because she's too smart, her speech too affected, her social skills too far outside the norm, she seems to have no choice but to retreat into isolation. But college could set her free, right? If she can make it through this grueling senior year, then maybe. If she can just find that one person to throw her a lifeline, then maybe, just maybe.

What happened to the second book?
Revisado: 02-11-17
I can't listen to this because the second book is gone for some reason. People keep saying to listen to "flat-out matt" first but I can't. For some reason it doesn't exist on audible.

Historia
Anna Kendrick's autobiographical collection of essays amusingly recounts memorable moments throughout her life, from her middle-class upbringing in New England to the blockbuster movies that have made her one of Hollywood's most popular actresses today. Expanding upon the witty and ironic dispatches for which she is known, Anna Kendrick's essays offer her one-of-a-kind commentary on the absurdities she's experienced on her way to and from the heart of pop culture.

Great Autobiography
Revisado: 11-16-16
I have never been able to finish a celebrity autobiography before. Midway through this book I realized that this was something that I would listen to several times over. Anna is brilliant and can effortlessly put herself in the mind of reader in a way that makes it seem like a real conversation. I enjoy that she gets right to the point and doesn't add any fluff to lengthen the story. This book never came off as self absorbed or fake, which is refreshing. All together it is worth a credit.
