In Finding God in the Waves, "Science Mike" draws on his personal experience to tell the unlikely story of how science led him back to faith. Among other revelations, we learn what brain scans reveal about what happens when we pray; how fundamentalism affects the psyche; and how God is revealed not only in scripture but in the night sky, in subatomic particles, and in us.

I laughed, I cried, you know how that goes. I'm a former leader deconstructing, trying to find what I'm looking for, as U2 sang. Mike's search and journey offers hope that a personal balance with science and Jesus, while loving those I formerly served, is attainable. I'm thankful for all the work you've done, Mike.

a very interesting world. Main characters are blooming well and fun to behold. New characters are well done and woven in skillfully. Plot is well written and not too fanciful. This was a fun book to read.

A General's account of the post 911 wars
Revisado: 12-01-15
This account was the insiders' perspective I was looking for. He didn't seem to be too judgmental or bitter. He just told the story and threw in plenty of tales of the front lines. His analysis was even keeled, I thought. The narration and recording quality was good as well.

Learning how to write a book is easy. Learning how to write a book that doesn't suck and can actually make you money - and set you up for a full-time writing career is harder.
But it's nowhere near impossible. And it's far more doable than you can imagine. The trouble is, most books offering tips on how to write a book fail to address two key considersations: 1) Most self-published nonfiction books suck. 2) It's almost impossible to make a living from one self-published nonfiction book.

Historia
For many years people have held the belief that bipolar disorder only affects adults, but recent findings suggest that having a bipolar child is not only possible, it is actually more and more common these days. While adults generally treat the disorder with the help of medication, therapy and pharmaceuticals, the same approach cannot really be taken with children, especially younger ones, and that's precisely why the Bipolar Survival Guide for Children by Heather Rose was written.
