Good discussion of the parallels of the temple and tabernacle

Overall a good overview and discussion about the tabernacle and later temples in Israel. it's clear that the author is both a good scholar and of deeply held religious beliefs as his presentation leans conservative but he does present the arguments well. Personally, I'd prefer a discussion involving higher criticism as well of just the mainline conservative view but I found his points to be congruent with my knowledge of biblical academia.

I first read this in middle school and loved it. This audio version was great overall. My only complaint was the voice actor for telemaine - I thought the actor sounded too young for the character. other than that, awesome production and I'm pleased overall

Poor story, good voice actor

This story read a like some one decided to write out an rpg adventure they once had while playing dungeons and dragons. Very little is explained and when it is, it's done in the most stupidest, matter of fact manner. I'm barely five hours in and I'm done. It's good bad a great voice actor like Nick is wasted on this garbage

if you're conservative, and believe conspiracies - this book will reaffirm your beliefs. if not, this book will not convince you. I don't wish to speak bad about the dead, but this book is full of outdated, misogynistic, and homophobic ideas. could not finish.

very preachy and condescending tone

I bought this book with the hopes of getting tips for preparedness and survival. What I got instead was political based preaching and condescension. I had hoped to muddle through it and find a solid advice rrom the gear list, but it got worse. He makes it clear that he thinks his ideas of gear are better than "the experts" (his words). I'm not sure if the fault of tone lies in the narrator or just the author, but it's frankly impossible to listen all the way.

the author tells the bible in entertaining manner but often resorts to very stretched explanations for events. Having said that, he does offer useful insight and background for the book of genesis. And his stories are very entertaining and interesting.

Very entertaining but not supported by archeological evidence or scholarly work. Overall, good for someone who wants to confirm what they already believe or for pure entertainment. Not good for someone interested in scholarly views.
