Unfortunate Narrator
Revisado: 04-23-25
I feel bad for the author as this may have been a good story but I have tried 5 times to finish this book at different chapters but the narrator is so bad I just can’t listen or even get into the story. I gave up at chapter 22 and still don’t know what the story is about.

Revisado: 01-25-23
The performer was very good, changing voices, entertaining story teller. It took a bit to get into the book and ending was a bit abrupt but I did enjoy the story and looked forward to listening to it.

Not worth a listen - couldn’t even listen
Revisado: 01-25-23
The performer was very draining to listen to. Should have had the same performer as the first book. I really gave this a good try but just couldn’t listen any more. I even tried to jump ahead but it was just a reiteration of the 1st book, a good deal word for word. Both the performer and the writing were nothing like the 1st book-both gave the impression of beginners. Very disappointing.

Enjoy this book after a slow beginning
Revisado: 08-30-22
Good story. However the female voice was a continuous whisper while the male’s voice was clear and loud. I had to continually adjust the volume depending on the story teller. Maybe don’t put these 2 together on the same book.

Sixteen years ago, a teenaged Will Sterling saw - or rather, heard - the girl of his dreams. Standing beneath an apartment building balcony, he shared a perfect moment with a lovely, warm-voiced stranger. It's a memory that's never faded, though he's put so much of his past behind him. Now an unexpected inheritance has brought Will back to that same address, where he plans to offload his new property and get back to his regular life as an overworked doctor. Instead, he encounters a woman, two balconies above, who's uncannily familiar.

Lady Madeline Matthews would rather shame herself than sacrifice her freedom. Old Narrator ?
Revisado: 08-23-21
I can’t even finish the first chapter. The narrator makes them sound like they are 70 years old and I just can’t get that out of my head. May have been able to listen to it with a different narrator. Can’t tell you about the story as I didn’t get that far.
