It was all the perfect relatable whimsy and magic I felt watching Peter Pan as a child, but with the magic of growing into my adult years and yearning more adult things. Peter being trans in this re-telling sutured some wounds in my heart I wasn’t even aware. The author captivated his boyish charms and ornery quirks perfectly. As always, Captain Hook will forever be my crush & this book just made it worse. (With affection, I get it Peter.) 20/10

The narrator was perfect. Beautiful, immaculate. I’m in awe. The book is sickening sweet and heart wrenchingly traumatic in all the best ways imaginable. The character Lucifer means a lot to me so the in depth tale for him and his experiences before man was the scratch my itchy brain needed with this story telling!
