Good story
Revisado: 01-26-21
Story is great but sometimes too sexual. Also the narrator sounds very “old lady” like and it can feel a little cringe. Wish it was a younger sounding women. But over all pretty good!

I’m addicted to this series currently! Such a fun listen I’m blowing through my credits like crazy! Lol. This book is even better than the first. The little romance with nick and and the quirky characters are so entertaining.

I absolutely love this book. The characters are so cute along with the setting. The little cat is such a fun touch. This book will fulfill all your cottagecore desires! Can’t wait to start more books by this author. Oh! And the narrator was absolutely perfect for this book.

Historia
The mysticism and fairy folklore of Celtic England, Scotland, the Isle of Man, Brittany, and Wales is explored in this production, which focuses on interviews conducted with everyday citizens about their beliefs, sightings, and encounters in the early 20th century, followed by an anthropological examination of evidence. It is an exploration of the spirit world, of the Sidhe, the "good people", who are claimed to interact mischievously with the populace - sometimes even abducting them and leaving only the victims' clothes behind, transporting them far distances, and killing livestock.

Enjoyable and a great reader
Revisado: 04-23-19
This was fun to listen too. I found this book so enjoyable because of the narrator. She does great voices for each character. It features all the characters we love and with the great narration it’s easy to picture another little mermaid story in your head! I would t of enjoyed this book as much if I was reading it because the story is kinda lacking. Story got great towards the end. Beginning of the book is “eh” . If you are a hard core Disney fan you might like this, if not the story won’t be too entertaining.

Historia
Here is the timeless story of Mary Poppins, the world's favorite nanny, and her magical adventures with the Banks family. Mary Poppins is like no other nanny the Banks children have ever seen. It all starts when their new nanny is blown by the east wind onto the doorstep of the Banks house, carrying a parrot-headed umbrella and a magic carpetbag. She becomes a most unusual nanny to Jane, Michael, and the twins.

Weird story, and horrible reader.
Revisado: 07-03-17
Would you try another book from P. L. Travers and/or Sophie Thompson?
The book is pretty much random little stories combining into a big story, so i wouldn't read a book from this author again..but maybe it was just the reader that ruined it for me.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The whole book wasn't that interesting.
Was Mary Poppins worth the listening time?
Fun short listen, creative storyline.
Any additional comments?
The reader comes up with the most annoying voices for characters and makes a lot of high pitch noises.
