Hard to follow

This story was really hard to follow at points. It had such great potential and you would never suspect the ending. Except the very very ending was stupid and dragged out. It should have stopped earlier.

This could have been a 4-5 star but the author just took way too long and so much repetition. I actually skipped about 5 chapters, as other reviewers did, just to get to the end. It was a great surprising ending and a great story but just too slow.

Pretty good, good have been even better

To the reviewer who said this was predictable I guess they must be physic because I found nothing about this book predictable. Of course you could make some guesses along the way but the ending was still surprising. However while I think the story itself was pretty good it just seemed like the author took a really long time to tell it which made it kinda drag out. Also without giving anything away it did seem a bit of a stretch that the person responsible would go to all that trouble.

Unbelievably good

I won’t go into great detail with this review because anything i would say has already been said. I am stunned someone can be such a great author. I read this along time ago before I listened and the narrator made the book. She was able to change her voice to distinguish between characters and it made the book so much better to listen to than to read yourself. This was funny, sad and so witty that I literally laughed out loud many many times. Oh Calamity!

Don’t Pass this Up

I really am dumbfounded that there were those handful of people that said this story was predictable. There is no way they could have predicted the outcome let alone all the surprises along the way. As far as reviewers making this a anti vaccine promotion on the authors part I can honestly say that it never ever came across this way to me. HOWEVER could there have been a “dig” on big pharma sure. People will do anything for the almighty dollar sure. The fact that some listeners somehow made this other than just a good mystery is ridiculous. Take a chill pill and enjoy a good book and quit trying to make everything have some big meaning. This story was great with lots of twists and turns. There could even be a part 2!

Wow.

This isn’t a book I think I could have actually read nor enjoyed as much. The narrator made the book really come to life. It was laughable yet dramatic and mysterious all at the same time. Usually a book with this many characters is hard to follow and I was concerned about keeping them all straight but I really believe by listening instead of reading it made it possible and so much better. A definite listen!

Eh. Nothing special. Good enough. Not as good as EG other reads. Sorta not a very intriguing story line and I found myself just waiting for it to be over.
