Historia
His code name is Nostradamus, and he’s an ancient alien super-intelligence awakened by pesky humans crawling upon his planet. He decides to use these low-grade morons, testing some, making the special ones his agents and sending them into Star Watch to make the military organization his own. It’s an insidious assault from within, run by a creature with fantastic predictive powers against what he considers an infantile species.

Historia
Star Watch stands guard over the Commonwealth, having defeated New Men, massed Swarm fleets and android attackers. The victories have cost lost ships, slain crews, and smashed star systems. The accumulated damage means that Star Watch now strains to keep order as political instability, increased space piracy and rebellions stretch the stellar organization to the limit. Humanity desperately needs peace so Star Watch can rebuild and regroup. Unfortunately, Lord Drakos is searching the Beyond for a splinter Swarm colony world.

Great ongoing series. Amazing ongoing story.
Revisado: 04-30-20
Great continuation of this saga. I love it. More character growth, great action from man to man or android to huge star battles. The audio was well done as well. Still great quality. I still love this mix of action, space battles, ground fights, spie life, and an ongoing evolving story.
I can't recommend this book and this series enough.

Historia
The Galactics arrived with their Battle Fleet in 2052. Rather than being exterminated under a barrage of hell-burners, Earth joined a vast Empire that spanned the Milky Way. More than a century has passed since the glorious day of Earth’s annexation. Struggling to hold on to a handful of planets in the frontier provinces, humanity is at war with Rigel. After the destruction of both our fleet and theirs, a time of quiet rebuilding has begun.

Same great ongoing series.
Revisado: 04-19-20
I think the best thing about this addition to the series is the ongoing character growth, the career desires of some of the officers, even some of the enlisted to move up, and of course some others. Great laughs and action as usual. The writing I'd always done so well that you feel and visualize the action and desperation. The story was all about one set goal but a bit all over the place.
I still loved it and can't recommend this enough.

Meh. Narration wasn't good and the story blah
Revisado: 08-20-19
The narration was just not good. Any other voice, outside of the main character, sounded the same. So I often found myself, trying to determine who was talking. It just wasn't as immersive. She also said a few words wrong. Not a huge deal, but noticeable.
The story was ok. That's what kept me from stopping this journey. Nothing amazing, but ok. What really made this story hard to listen too was the insertion of right wing political opinions. It felt like every chapter, the author made some attempt to slide some sort of reminder of his views. From talking about monuments, bashing CNN, and even talking about women. His views were all over the story. Sorry, that's just not professional or needed.
Overall, it was an ok at best experience. Due to the poor narration and the unneeded right wing stuff, I can't say I'm looking forward to anything else from this author.
I highly do not recommend this book.

Historia
An artificial object made of compressed stardust is barreling toward Earth. Is it an invasion ship? A doomsday weapon? Perhaps it’s the final response of Squanto, the Warlord of Rigel who James McGill has repeatedly humiliated. Or could it be from the Mogwa, sent to avenge McGill’s assassination of Earth’s Imperial Governor? No one knows the truth of its origins, but the object is huge and unstoppable. Whoever hurled this rock at us isn’t answering our calls. Every weapon bounces off, and the people of Earth begin to go mad as they realize their destruction is only hours away.

Historia
Every leader must be ready and willing to take charge, to make hard, crucial calls for the good of the team and the mission. Something much more difficult to understand is that in order to be a good leader, one must also be a good follower. This is a dichotomy - a Dichotomy of Leadership. It is, as authors Jocko Willink and Leif Babin explained in their best-selling first audiobook, Extreme Ownership, “Simple, Not Easy”.

Very interesting story. It left a lot of questions unanswered but I really enjoyed the main character. The other characters side stories annoyed me a bit. However, overall this was a lot of fun. I highly recommend.

I'm fan of Tim Zahn, but this bored me
Revisado: 12-30-17
Unique story, interesting main character, but after that...meh. I just kept struggling to maintain my interest in the story. When I got to the 13th chapter, I wondered why I was still listening. Don't get me wrong, its not a bad story. Just sort of boring and pointless. So I can't recommend this story sadly.

Nothing ever changes in Sanders. The town's still got a video store, for God's sake. So why doesn't Eli Teague want to leave? Not that he'd ever admit it, but maybe he's been waiting - waiting for the traveler to come back. The one who's roared into his life twice before, pausing just long enough to drop tantalizing clues before disappearing in a cloud of gunfire and a squeal of tires. The one who's a walking anachronism, with her tricorne hat, flintlock rifle, and steampunked Model A Ford.

Unique and a little frustrating
Revisado: 10-02-17
Love Peter Clines work and I enjoyed this title. Sadly, I just felt frustrated at times with some of the things that really dragged out. I don't want to give any spoilers. Its a really interesting story, no doubt about that. Minus the frustration I felt, I would have given this five stars. So with that, I can somewhat recommend this with a warning and request that you have patience.

A great story with laughs, action, and feel
Revisado: 06-10-17
The amazing thing about this ongoing story about Indian Hill, is it ability to expand into new areas of action. Space. Ground. Dialog. Epic battles and it never gets old. Filled with actions that mirror absolute friendship, loyalty and the importance of survival. Mike still hovers with reality and not taking things too seriously. Deep down, he fully grasps the reality of everything happening but he protects himself with a armor of laughs. Often confusing or frustrating his friends and allies but giving all of us a good time.
And yet somehow in the midst of all this patent ridiculosity. It manages to be serious. An edge to whats really a state. Confusing the listener as to not be able to tell what will happen next. Pressure based, because you never know just who might perish from the next battle.
And at over five books at the time of this writing, it's hard to deny that this new chapter is epic. It will make you laugh like a kid at the circus. It will make tears spring to your eyes with laughter. It will keep you on the edge of your seat wanting more while still leaving you with a sense of gleeful satisfaction after nearly every chapter.
Indian hill introduced me to Michael Talbot. If you haven't heard of him in any of his parallel universe based stories, for the sake of all that is right, please do.
I highly recommend this tale. :)
