Oh that ending had my heart all gooey with the feels!!! This was just like getting a perfect pancake on the first one, very rare and just meant to be. ( Read the book and that sentence will make even more sense. ) Maisie was once an angel but now she is one of Lucifer soul contractors. She handle deals to collect souls. When she summoned on a new deal she come face to face with the love of her past that cause her to loss her wings in the first place. He was to sell his soul so that he may finally live without his illness but she know the true cost of this deal and what a precious gift his soul is. She make a deal for 7 days to try and sway him to not give up his soul, but this may just cost her her heart all over again. These narrators do an amazing job bring so much love and life to this story.

I just love this cast they always do such an amazing job. They really bring the story to life. I just love Lucian, his word just melt my heart and I go all gooey. As for Kieran you freaking butt head. I had such high hopes for him in the prequel but no I want to rip your head off. Who in there right mind thinks that's the way you treat the person you supposedly love. Also really what did you have to go back to you were not a prince, not really when you left home, Mr "I'm A Prince You Shall Not Treat Me This Way." The ending has me hanging by a thread, I need more now!

Fantastic cast!!!

Effie has so much sassy in her little body but you can't let her size fool you. She will no longer be pushed around and ran over no matter anyone's size or title. Kieran and Lucian keep me going on a love them and then want to throttle them. I think I have finally picked a side but I will not tell you who just yet. Fully of action and intrigue. Can't wait to read the next one to see how this war will continue and just how the tides may turn. Plus I want to know some many of the secrets that all of them are keeping. I had previously read and the book and listening to this cast just brought it to life on a whole new level. They did an amazing job and couldn't have picked better people for the characters.

Absolutely in love with this series...

I loved this series so much that I would not allow myself to finish it in one go. I just didn't want it to be over. These ladies absolutely wrecked me with this series. It has been a roller coaster of emotions. I have laughed so hard that I've had to stop reading or listening to it because it was just that good. I have cried, the ach you have caused my heart with each up these men has been devastating. Lastly the unyielding love that I feel is unmatched from any RH that I have read before. Of course I cannot leave out the steam that is hotter than the Armageddon that they are trying to prevent. The audio is so remarkably done with its full cast of narrators that it truly comes to life. They each give the book that extra something that just makes it a tremendous work of art.

This will pull at your heart!

The complete and utter heartbreak for Alec, why oh why did you ladies have to break me so thoroughly. I know you did kind of make up for it later but still you heart my heart. This book is full of steam, but it is not without all the emotions to pull at your heart in every way possible. The bedtime store from Caleb had me swoony, that has got to be one of the sweetest things ever. Another sweet thing that does not need to be forgotten is Pooh Bear =) The joke were on point too, perfectly time Tamlin joke, the fungi joke (complete dad joke), and I was all for the OZ jokes. Alec's brother is fantastic I need him in my life as a friend, I just know there would never be a dull moment. Nord will always be my favorite Viking though. I was so excited to see Crombie make an appearance I have missed that guy. Lastly, I was thrilled with Callie she can haunt me any day, I feel that she is my sprite animal in a way. I am so excited to see what comes next in this story with that last turn of events. And I just can not get over this cast! They are phenomenal!

Pace was better than the last...

I am glad to see that this book picked up more from the last book, in all the possible ways. Some very interesting characters service and you will know what I'm talking about when you get there. (Mind blowing) The only downside of this book is that I wish I would have waited a few years before starting this series only because of the similar correlations to covid outbreak that is all over everything. I would rather not read about things that I am having to deal with everyday that I would rather not. I understand how writing about relevant things and I am not saying it is exactly the same but you can see parallels. Anywho glad to see more of old characters that I fell in love with in the last series. I also love seeing Evie and Luc both grow so much both emotionally and in strength. Warning there is a major cliffhanger and the next book doesn't have a release date at this time.

Narration felt a little off...

So let me start by saying I love Jennifer Armentrout and her books but this one was a little slow for me. I still love look and all his pick up lines and goofy shirts. Evie is still very spunky and finding her place in the world is hard when she learns more of her past. On another note I read the first book and got the audio book on this one. The voice on Evie just missed the mark. She is supposed to be 17 and the voice just didn't match to me so it made it a little difficult for me. This may not be a problem with alot of people but it was for me. I hope the third book picks up the pace a little more and has more of the characters from the first series.

Jinx is amazing...

I loved the progression of Jinx and Draven. Their relationship get so much more intense and I won't give it away but their is one sence that is just too cute of Draven you'll know it when you read it. Also I still am a huge fan of Kap, he is just flat out hilarious. The mystery of who has threatened and hurt her family continues to unfold in the most interesting ways. And dang girl at how you left me hanging and the end, need the next one now.

Picked up the pace...

So I wont say that I was exactly happy with that way the last book end. I felt a little like Morgan had became too dependent on her relationship to Gray and was compromising herself and who she would be to stay with him. Not saying that I don't think they are a good time or even a good couple. Just that she could be so much more and stronger with how strong and more sure of herself that she was in the first book. With that being said she dominated in this book, coming back with a vengeance. She will not be stopped with what needs to be done and doing it the right was. There is still people out get her and she must work with Gray, Trist and even the coven that resents her. She must even fight for the aunt that treated her so badly in her childhood. And let me just say Neal and got to be one of my favorite supporting characters. Can I please have a best friend like him. I will lastly say that there is some serious heat in some of the these scenes but I'm not tell who with. =]

Who to side with....

Sasha has a hard time figuring out just what to do and where she stand in the whole new vampire world. She is working so hard to find a cure but it almost seems like someone is holding her back. And Sasha isn't the only one keeping a secret, will Jackson and her survive this new information. I feel like this book is the turning point in the series. When you look back you'll be saying yupp thats when it happened.
