In an effort to save and help her family, Penny lands the "Time Machine" and sets off on a journey to learn more about this new dark-age for humanity which is controlled by aliens trying to help. She befriends and enlists a space ship-pilot, and they embark on a way to start a fruitful business to earn more money using her abilities. Things go well at first and they soon become entangled in an deep secret underground operation to protect the free Federation of Worlds.

Wow, this author is amazing. The book needs to be turned into a movie of which I would pay top dollar at the local theater to see. The story reminds me of one of my old favorite TV series : Babylon 5, where telephaths, jump gates, and aliens are abundant. Keep the story going Frank. I am ready to hear what is in store for Penny's next adventure. Oh, by the way, love the "Yodi" reference to "Yoda". Nice touch.

In a twist of fate, a young Latino girl acquires a strange gift and can control time only for herself. Penny reminds us: "Time is strange, and I would have thought it had many paths, but for some reason, you can't go back. My path leads to ruin." Penny's only hope, she thought, was to steal a "Time Machine" and go to an unknown future, where she finds things become more terrible than she ever thought possible. Penny then takes the time to tell us her story. With the nature of what time is, the trip can lead only one way. There is no path back home.

Great Sci-Fi Story

This author must have been a real Sci-Fi fan in his youth by bringing back my memories of old movies like "The Time Machine" and all "Star Trek" ones. Good read, ready to read or listen to Book 2. I will place him on my list of new "upcoming authors".
