3.5 stars. For some reason my Tia Louise audios aren't hitting the spot for me like they used to. I liked this one, didn't love it. Aiden and Brit brought the spice, but for me the story was lacking. I can't pinpoint it but I wasn't drawn in to it like I had hoped. The storyline additions of magic and such doesn't do it for me. Having said that, Troy Duran and Samantha Brentmoor slayed the audio! Both of their performances were superb!

Witty and fun, narrated by the best in the business, YES PLEASE!! Completely loved this one and the addition of my fave, Jason Clarke made for a chef's kiss - perfect ending to this fun and entertaining series. TWCT fan foreva and eva.

I loved Wildcat! Give me a hockey romance + forbidden love? I'm in! Leo and Scarlett were everything! Leo was so swoony, I loved him so much. He calls Scarlett "dream girl," and was just so sweet! I really loved these two together and how hard they fell for each other. This story is real, raw, and romantic. Both MC have real issues that are developed well throughout the story and I love when it's done without adding extra unnecessary drama. Jenshak is a great writer and I haven't met a book of hers I haven't loved! This title is wonderfully narrated by Desiree Ketchum and Aaron Shedlock. Highly recommend!

Ember is a fast paced, passionate, and exciting story that kept me engaged and eager to see what would happen next! There is danger & suspense, humour & heat. Rocco and Rebel were so likeable and fun, I was rooting for them the whole way! Narrated by Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor, this was an audio treat! A rather short listen, but not lacking in story or characters. I loved it!

Elizabeth O'Roark is quickly becoming a favorite author. I've absolutely loved both of the books I've read of hers this year. Her writing style is so addictive and the flow is spot on. She's has the best narrators too! This book was wonderful narrated by Samantha Brentmoor and Lee Samuels.

Walker and Kate are EVERYTHING you never knew you needed in your life!! I didn't review this book right after reading because I was so overcome with emotion and happy feels from Walker & Kate's story! This book had the most delicious angst and the transformation of Walker from grumpy, rude, and closed off to sweet, tender, and generous was so beautiful and swoony. Having Jason Clarke narrate this with Vanessa Edwin was an absolute aural delight! This audiobook is one of my top audios of the year, no question.
5+ huge stars!

I didn't love this one and I'm not exactly sure why. I usually love Helena Hunting. This one just didn't feel like her other stories that I love so much. It didn't have the same spark and addicting quality I always get from her stories. I was a bit bored, and struggled to want to pick it back up and finish it. I think that maybe because it focused more on their families, the town, and the money laundering, and not as much on the romance, I didn't feel connected to these two.
I liked it enough to continue the series and I'm sure I'll read the next one. I'll never give up on HH.

great narration - story fell flat

The narrators were good, but this one fell a little flat for me. Definitely my least favorite Tia Louise book, and I usually love her stories. The back and forth between the two MC was annoying, and Spencer was not likeable at all to me. I do prefer the cinnamon roll heroes and not the alpha a$$holes, so I guess I know why he wasn't for me. It was supposed to be like a beauty and the beast re-telling but honestly I didnt really see that. Tia, give me the sweet heroes I know and love!
