Yeah, I'm cocky. I have a reason to be. Women love me and not just because I play for one of the most popular rock bands in the world, but because I know exactly how to make a woman's body sing in ways she never thought possible.

Can't get enough of these rockers!
Revisado: 04-25-18
Just when I think I couldn't love another Irish man as much as the last, CM Seabrook gives me Shane. The brooding, doesn't care attitude is in full swing when he meets Makena. Makena is on her way to Ireland to try and get her life back on track, not to hook up with a stranger. But fate has other ideas. These two have instant lust, and watching their relationship deepen as the book goes on is very fulfilling. Shane definitely matures and shows sides of himself that we had not been exposed to before. But can the rocker break through the walls to Makena's heart? They are strong and hard to get through after being hurt by her actor, ex-husband Chad. Seabrook even throws a little suspense letting us see how fame isn't always as shiny and fun. This story is my favorite of the trilogy, bringing the entire ensemble of characters together and how their lives have grown and changed. I love the interaction and family feel they all have together and through everything show their loyalty and love for one another.
Kyle Maraglio wraps up this trilogy with his wonderful Irish brogue. I enjoyed the narration, though at times his voices were not easily distinguishable. He provides an authentic sounding Irish accent, making the band swoon worthy.

Historia
I wasn't looking for his kind of trouble. It found me anyway. Tall. Dark. Addictive. He unravels me with his kisses. Melts me with his touch. But he has secrets. A hidden agenda beyond his craving for me. A desire for more than tangled silk sheets and our sweat-slicked skin. I need to run. From him. From the lies. But running from the hunter means I've now become the prey.

Summers and suspense!
Revisado: 03-08-18
Hunter, the title caught my eye immediately. Is it his name? Is it what he does? From the beginning of this book, I was completely entranced. Steph/Sara is the heroine, and she is a fiercely strong and stubborn woman. Hiding from her past, she is found by Hunter, but the question is why? Hunter, who is taken with Steph/Sara from the beginning isn't giving her any indication, but their chemistry is strong, and his protectiveness evident. Eden Summers has woven this tale of revenge, lies, love and betrayal, with twists and turns, love and hate, and life and death. With only a glimpse into Hunter, and Steph/Sara being the open book in this story, the suspense builds high, and just when you think you know what is going to happen, it changes. The signs of incredible romantic suspense, and though a different side of Eden Summers, she excels with this story.
Maxine and Mitchell and Joe Arden are a wonderful team, and give this book the feels, suspense and fear just when it's needed. Maxine has incredible voices, each time I see her name as the narrator, I know it's going to be enjoyable. Joe always brings his best, giving the hero all the qualities you love through his performance and making it easy to listen to.

Historia
Sage Mayson had Kimberly Cullen once, and the memory of that brief encounter has tortured him since the moment he pushed her away. He should have followed his gut, but he didn’t, and now he’s left watching the woman he wants more than anything from afar. Kimberly vowed to protect her heart from Sage, but when her sister is murdered and her world starts to fall apart, he’s the one person she finds herself leaning on.

Love those Mayson Men!
Revisado: 02-28-18
The Boom! That's what hits Sage as soon as he stops to help Kim change her tire. I have to say, he had me as soon as he was walking her through the steps of this task, I love that he immediately wanted to help her learn an important lesson. The chemistry is instant lands them for a night filled with passion. Just as soon as the two think life can't get better, things change. Kim's twin sister comes into the picture and through misunderstandings, fear and hurt feelings, the two are separated. Mayson men have a way about them that is hard to forget and get over, and Sage is no exception. With his warmth and understanding, Kim is continually drawn to him, but will their relationship withstand her secrets? Aurora Rose Reynolds is able to portray this family with incredible love, tenderness, and a fierce protectiveness that sucks you in and makes you root for the couple. I love how she is able to intertwine the characters we have gotten to know so well into each story, giving us a firm foundation of family. It really endears the story even more.
The narration of this book is not as good as previous, but did give a performance that was enjoyable. In my opinion, Zachary Michael does have a good voice, but not as commanding as the alpha Mayson men need. Thurlow Holmes has the voice of a new adult woman, though at times, I felt like her portrayal was forced, not comfortable. With the strength of the storyline though, the narration was acceptable and the book enjoyable.
