Historia
Of course, I’m not going to murder her in the night. I need my laptop back first. That’s the whole point of making friends with Emily Harper, author of the hugely successful novel Diary of an Octopus. So I could get into her apartment and take back what’s mine. Emily doesn’t know who I really am. She thinks I’m her biggest fan, her new best friend who happens to need a place to stay for a few days. She doesn’t realize the laptop she found—and took—from a busy airport almost two years ago was mine. I don’t care about the laptop, just what's on it: my diary.

Disappointment
Revisado: 02-05-24
I thought the narration was really great that the story not so much. None of the characters were really likable, and in the end, they all turned out to be despicable.

Extremely disappointing as it progressed
Revisado: 11-20-23
I started out really liking the story. I was really engaged, but as it started winding down and they started revealing things it was just such a disappointment and let down. I am sorry that I started.

When the police have given up, when the public no longer remembers, when the media has never paid attention, Frankie starts looking. This is completely ridiculous
Revisado: 07-09-23
At first when I started reading it, or should I say listening to it I thought it was somebody stealing Lee, Child Jack reacher character, and trying to make it a woman if that was the case it didn’t work. We have a mentally ill white woman who think she is the savior of missing girls. She thinks the local police and the families in the community are not capable of doing what she is capable of doing. How demeaning is that? So, with no law-enforcement background, no education this bartender goes around in her mentally ill state, putting lots of lives at risk and think she is a hero. I am just sorry that I spent a credit on it. Definitely a waste of time.

Revisado: 02-24-23
I did not care much for the previous book in the series so I was a bit hesitant to pre-order this one. I did go ahead and pre-order it and I’m so glad that I did. I loved this one. I was exhausted from listening to it, but just could not put it down till the end. What a wild ride.

Boring
Revisado: 01-06-23
Normally, I like Greg Herwitz and Scott but this was bad. I did not like any of the characters, and I found myself wishing they would just all die to get it over with. Maybe Scott did the best that he could with such a bad story, but he didn’t save it.
