Historia
Miriam may be the daughter of Queen Alethia of Tirendell, but she's not a princess. She's the child of Alethia and her previous husband, the King's Champion, who died fighting for the king, and she has no ambitions to rule. When her new baby sister, Aurora, heir to the throne, is born, she's ecstatic. She adores the baby, who seems perfect in every way. But on the day of Aurora's christening, an uninvited Dark Fae arrives, prepared to curse her, and Miriam discovers she possesses impossible power.

Loved the background detailed but not the story.
Revisado: 03-06-22
Loved the detailed descriptions of live in a medieval typt society. But the story and the way people behave is geared towards very young audiences…

A complete crime fiction box set! Homicide detective Thomas Prescott may be retired—but a serial killer, a high-profile murder, an ill-fated cruise, and a chilling small-town crime add more than enough excitement to his hard-earned rest. This collection includes the first four books: Unforeseen, Gray Matter, The Afrikaans, and Show Me.

One of the worst crime stories I have ever read/heard!
Revisado: 02-12-22
Full of impossible facts, cops and FBI being extremely stupids and just picking the least likely guy as accomplice. On top of that the main character is a dick who is more interested in getting laid then keeping his sister/girlfriends safe…

An inspirational, sometimes funny, sometimes sad, but always very moving book

An inspirational, sometimes funny, sometimes sad, but always very moving book
Revisado: 02-14-20
This book is funny, and sad, but also incredibly moving and inspirational! It makes you want to pack your bags and go on an adventure to Guatemala, to meet some of the amazing people described in this book, to learn more about the Mayan culture and history and to feel the fulfillment of working with others to make this wold a little better - helping one person at a time.

Horrible narrator!
Revisado: 05-15-19
The voices the narrator gave the characters was so forced and grating, I stopped listening even though the book was almost done.
The two main characters were a bit annoying anyway and I didn’t find the story very engaging either.

Could have loved it, but..
Revisado: 04-01-16
It serves as an example of the different readers styles and voices, but most of the definitions were cut off. I would have liked to hear the full definition of the words.
