As always a well writen book
Revisado: 11-03-18
I have listened to every book in the series that Mr. White has written. I look forward to each new book and have not been disappointed. As someone with a degree in physical oceanography I have to give praise to the author in knowing his science and laying it out in the book so that anyone without a scientific background in oceanography can understand.
The characters from Doc and the rest at Dinkins Bay are well written and the plot very believable for me. I cannot wait for the next book on the series. I also always enjoy listening to George Guidall as the reader.

This was a good book in the series
Revisado: 11-03-18
I would suggest this is not a stand alone book . The author has written 13 books in the series, I have listened to or read each one. I always look forward to the next volume. Be prepared for a long listen as this is a minute short of 18 hours. But the book lays out the problem from the beginning and slowly makes its way to the conclusion.
The characters have been in all 13 books and they continue to be just that characters that you have enjoyed in the past and continue to enjoy. The plot moves along at a good pace and at 18 hours does not seem too long.
I listen to books on a waterproof I pod and swim as I listen . I swim about 3 hours a week, so this book keep me going. In fact when I had an chance to pick up some extra time say on a small car ride the book went with me.
Well done. I cannot wait for the next volume to come out.

Historia
As the true horrors of the Third Reich began to be exposed immediately after World War II, the Nazi war criminals who committed genocide went on the run. A few were soon caught, including the notorious SS leader Heinrich Himmler. Others, however, evaded capture through a sophisticated Nazi organization designed to hide them. Among them were Josef Mengele, the “Angel of Death” who performed hideous medical experiments at Auschwitz; Martin Bormann, Hitler’s brutal personal secretary; Klaus Barbie, the cruel "Butcher of Lyon"; and perhaps the most awful Nazi of all: Adolf Eichmann.

Both my wife and I enjoyed this book.
Revisado: 11-03-18
I have always been a fan of World War II history. My wife and I listed to this on a trip in the car. We had both known some of the facts that was presented in the book. But there were some fascinating facts about some of the SS capture we did know about.
So if you are looking for a book to listen to and enjoy if you are into history I would recommend this. The book is not dry and the pace of the book is great.
