Lots of plot twist oh my

Good story with a a lot of plot twist. Some writing got out of character at times - like agent Waylen forgetting the life and death scenario they have been facing and takes his new/old girlfriend on a case where aliens may melt them all because she insisted. More to that story… All in all good read for the money and I will purchase final book 3. Narrative was excellent.

Leave it to Jasper to keep you entertained

I am a fan of this author and was not disappointed, yes the story is vaguely familiar however I enjoyed the spin on an alien invasion with a twist and as the narrative was excellent it did the novel justice. I was waiting for the sequel before reading this so I could enjoy the whole series in one continuous read. This novel has it all and will keep you going all night without putting it down. I can’t wait to read the sequel!

I read this book years ago and was pleased to listen to it on audible. The narrative was well done and it is one of those great stories that you find yourself embracing the story and not once debating narrative gender.

Good interesting read

Nice syfy story told with flashbacks to help bring you up to speed. Never slow as I usually listen at 1.45 to keep the pace moving. I liked the characters and the narrator, whom I will definitely seek out other books she narrates, as well as more from Dean, who is a great storyteller.

This is one of A.G. Riddle’s best stories, which is read by 2 of the best narrators. Narrators are like casting actors and these two were perfect, making this a good read/listen as the future “flew” in and the story developed I found I could not put it down until the wonderful “mushy” ending.

Predictable

I tried Dennis E Taylor books because of the narrator Ray Porter, but even Mr. Porter could not save this story. Very slow start, to a predictable ending. Loved Mr. Taylor’s Bobiverse as it had a unique story line with great humor, that with Ray Porters narrative made it so enjoyable and enhanced the audible experience, however this Stargate vs apocalyptic volcano just never really worked nor were any of the characters fully developed, likable or believable. This might make a good teen series but I won’t be following this series onward.
