Another Great Series Entry

I can’t speak of this book as a stand alone because I’ve devoured Ben Aaronovitch’s River of London series since the first (never midnight riot) was released. This one does not disappoint. Old favorites, new faces and old foxes! Good job Ben and excellent narration Kobna who will always be Peters voice in my head whoever plays him on film.

I admit I bought this title because I am a fan of Graham Norton’s TV show and didn’t know what to expect.
I loved this short novel, the characters are fleshed out and believable.
I also enjoyed Mr Norton as a narrator which was to be expected!
Looking forward to listening to another of his fictional tales (not sure I care enough to hear about his non-fiction life story).

I love how Dr Harkness mixes true historical figures with her fictional characters. No one can do it better or more entertaining! My favorite of the three books in the “All Souls Trilogy” but honestly I love them all!

Jodi at her Best!

I feel Ms Taylor shines her brightest in her short stories. That is not to say I don’t enjoy her books but I think even if you have never listened to one of her full length novels you can get to know her characters and fall in love with the world of St Mary’s through her shorts.
I do dare you to listen to all her short stories and not want to dive deeper into these wonderfully funny, quirky characters that will often have you laughing out loud and at times bring a tear or two to your eye.
