Historia
A magic potion may spoil; its intended effects lost to time. The power of a potion, however, never fades. It contorts, deforms, and mutates, often leading to something monstrous. Thus, tragedy befalls Zellin Percour, a young woman tricked into drinking an expired love potion. Now transformed into an abomination, she’s rampaging her way toward the town of Sleeping Bear, hellbent on finding the man who deceived her.

all about the characters
Revisado: 02-04-25
I very much loved the characters but most especially Griever the ferrelf. it's a great story contained in a single book about a singlular quest. ride along with four characters who I feel I know more than most others after only 1 book.

Historia
The Tower of Babel is the greatest marvel in the world. Immense as a mountain, the ancient Tower holds unnumbered ringdoms, warring and peaceful, stacked one on the other like the layers of a cake. It is a world of geniuses and tyrants, of airships and steam engines, of unusual animals and mysterious machines. Soon after arriving for his honeymoon at the Tower, the mild-mannered headmaster of a small village school, Thomas Senlin, gets separated from his wife, Marya, in the overwhelming swarm of tourists, residents, and miscreants.

Historia
Roark von Graf - former noble and hedge mage, current mid-level mob in a MMORPG - has his sights set on taking down the tyrannical dungeon lord. But the reigning troll despot is nearly as devious as Roark, and his followers are at a much higher level. With forever-death on the line, civil war breaks out in the Citadel, pitting Roark’s new regime against Azibek’s horde of loyalists. To survive, Roark will have to outfox the dungeon lord, forge new, dirtier weapons and shady alliances, and above all, evolve....

definitely meh
Revisado: 11-23-22
rather boring and very average. The reader is the only good thing here. So many others in this genre that do it a lot better. That and the "books" are rather short and feel more like chapters of the same book. Nothing special here.

Historia
"No killing Goblins." So reads the sign outside of The Wandering Inn, a small building run by a young woman named Erin Solstice. She serves pasta with sausage, blue fruit juice, and dead acid flies on request. And she comes from another world. Ours. It's a bad day when Erin finds herself transported to a fantastical world and nearly gets eaten by a Dragon. She doesn't belong in a place where monster attacks are a fact of life, and where Humans are one species among many. But she must adapt to her new life. Or die.

most annoying characters
Revisado: 11-15-22
I've read hundreds of books and never have I been more annoyed with characters. made it to chapter 49 before I wrote this. I might finish it just because but I truly don't like the 2 main characters. so much time spent on the characters pain, internal and external, that I feel I should be paid as a psychiatrist. primary character is okay but the second one is so stupid it hurts. plus the writer definitely has some issues with men. it's all over her writing but the parts in the story reflecting that didn't bother me and I thought was funny at times. definitely slice of life and not much happens but that's okay as there is enough to tell you that's the kind of story you are getting into before you start. The whining and stupidity of characters is what finally got me after almost 30 hours of listening. Will be returning this one.

Felix Nevarre, slayer of the Ravager King and destroyer of Domains, isn't going down without a fight. The Guild Tower has fallen, and Haarwatch has been split into factions vying for supremacy, and the people despair as monsters overrun the city. Bloody battle is waged through the streets, but Felix’s power has grown—his core stuffed full with the spoils of his victory—and he's looking to put it to use. When the Inquisition advances its grip on the city and waves of monsters attack, he pushes back.

over and over
Revisado: 11-09-22
I have an hour left and am just waiting to find out what happens because I've been stuck in the longest fight scene ever... the entire book. When it wasn't a fight chapter then that's all they talked about. how many times can the MC have the exact same fight (from his side at least) same four skills same way of ending the fight. seriously I've skipped over 30min of this book simply because the fight was so monotonous not feeling like I missed a thing. this might be my last book. I do like the reader though.

fun and worth the listen
Revisado: 05-17-17
This was a fun story to listen to, but you aren't going to walk away from this saying anything that deserves an exclamation point ie wow or amazing. It was fun and enjoyable to listen to but not much more than that.
