Historia
Trauma nurse Aly Cappellucci doesn’t need any more kinks. She likes the one she’s landed on just fine. To her, nothing could top the masked men she follows online. Unless one of those men was shirtless, heavily tattooed, and waiting for her in her bedroom. She dreams about being hunted by one in particular, of him chasing her down and doing deliciously dark things to her willing body. She never could have guessed that by sending one drunken text, those dreams would become her new reality.

Narrator is Flat, but Story Shines
Revisado: 07-31-19
I read this book as a teenager and loved it, so I thought I would give it a listen. The narrator really reads the story flat, very monotone. You can hear her swallow and smack all through the story, which is very distracting. I would honestly have to say she finds her flow at the very end of the book where she has to do several voices.
The main character has such a sad story, but don't let this stop you from reading it. If anything read the Kindle version.

Four Star Review ****
I listened to this book as a stand-alone novel although it is the second in the series. Listening to the book as a stand-alone book is perfectly easy, you do not feel you are missing anything from the story. The Author has done an amazing job in making a second book in the series feel like it could be the first of many.
This story is pretty captivating from the beginning. I was glad I listened to it. The Author creates well developed characters, a riveting story with so many added embellishments while adding a nice twist for the listener. There are Government conspiracies, Evangelist extremists, and even a Secret Evil society! This is great listen, if you enjoy thrillers give this book a try. The story is well worth it, give this page turner a try!

** 2 out of 5 stars 2.0 (1 rating)**
This book is written almost as beautiful poetry and that artistry is missed when listening to it in audiobook format. I really wanted to like this curious story but found it very hard to listen too. The book was really all over the place which made it somewhat confusing, could be it needs further editing.
This story is written for a younger audience perhaps the young adult category. It takes place on a teenage camping trip in the mysterious Snowfall Grove. The youngsters or teenagers (they certainly act like both) uncover mysteries and secrets of the teachers of Plunket School. This is a coming of age story with mystery and a little bit of suspense.
As an audiobook listener I just couldn't get into the story, or fully understand what exactly was occurring at times. I rewound this audiobook so many times! The dialogue in the book implied a much younger person than what the actual age these children were supposed to be. I was left confused most of the time as to what exactly was going on. Don't get me wrong this may be another persons cup of tea if you enjoy young adult narrative poetry.
The narrator was hard to understand at times, the wispy voice did not match the story being told. The narrators voice kept lulling me to sleep instead of keeping me interested in the story. I had to speed up the narration speed, and that still did not help. I believe this is a make or break circumstance with the narrator.

**** 4 Stars****
This story is one that makes you feel so many different emotions. It has domestic violence, stalking, passion and murder. When a story stirs anger, aggravation or even sympathy you know you have listened/read a great story.
You get to be inside the perspective of a Woman that has been brutally tormented for years she is a beaten down, empty shell of a person. Almost. Its very possible Ella suffers from some sort of mental and emotional dysfunction. She latches onto the one person that shows her a bit of kindness and does it in a very bizarre methodical way. Even though Ella does peculiar things in the book, she is fascinating. In the end you want to know what comes next for Ella, and you do want her to find some happiness. That is the written word at it's finest!
Sebastian or Seb is the other main character. He is nice fellow, you pull for him in the story. He has managed to get himself in quite a sticky situation. As the story unfolds you hope Sebastian will make it through the strange circumstances he has befallen. Is the strange attraction something he can ever escape?
The characters are very interesting and the story keeps you on a roller coaster of emotions. I enjoyed the story very much. The ending seemed to come very abruptly, perhaps there are other books and this is a series. I honestly can't wait to find out what else happens with Ella and Sebastian in the next book.
Narrator Notes: The narrator is engaging, he did not differentiate characters with several different voices or inflect high emotion but the book was read well and I was not bored by his voice. In fact he has a lovely voice.

Wizard's First Rule
Sword of Truth, Book 1
Terry GoodKind
34 hours and 6 minutes
*****Five Stars*****
If there is ever a story to listen to or read it would be Terry Goodkind's Wizard's First Rule. This series should be on everyone's bucket list. It has mystery, suspense, drama, murder and even a tad bit of love. This delightfully written story has so many great elements wrapped up into a magnificent 34 hour listen! The book is large so you know you really have a good sturdy story.
This is the first book of the Sword of Truth series. The story unfolds a wonderful mystical land, unique people and a great mission of course. The pure hearted hero of the story is a very human man, he is likable and of course makes mistakes like all of us. Richard is certainly relatable. The characters within this book are alluring and interesting. The trials they have to withstand are turbulent and exciting.
The story is interesting and well thought out, it was executed flawlessly and is a fascinating base to build the future of the series.
I recommend it to anyone that likes a great story.

Continuation of Virgin River Characters!
Revisado: 02-05-19
Vanessa and Paul's Love story is continued in Second Chance Pass. You also get too know what is happening with the rest of the characters in previous books in the Virgin River Series. Vanessa is a widow and Paul is Vanessa (Vannie) deceased husbands best friend. It has the makings for angst riddled with guilt but best of all a sweet love story. We get to be introduced to new characters and also have some updates on old characters we have grown to cherish (Jack, Mel, Preacher & Paige). I enjoy knowing what everyone is up too in Virgin River!
As always Therese Plummer is astounding; She is capable of doing many different voices smoothly and with great skill.

Characters you Connect with and a Setting you Love
Revisado: 02-05-19
This is the continuation of the Virgin River series by Robyn Carr, it's book two. Robyn Carr is an extremely talented writer, she pulls you into the cozy town and makes you interested in the people. The story is one of Preacher and Paige. Somehow Robyn Carr made a kind gentle male character with such honest intentions. You delve into a story of a Woman that is abused by her spouse and the kind and gentle soul of Preacher. Its the perfect story to show how domestic abuse is painful and scary.
Even though this is Preacher and Paige's story you still see other characters like Mel and Jack. I enjoy stories with reoccurring characters. Robyn Carr manages to take the very serious subject of Domestic Abuse on and does it superbly. Virgin River is a sweet escape, the setting is cozy the people are sweet and the romances are steamy.
The Narrator Therese Plummer is amazing! She can differentiate each character without flaw. I am a true fan of her talent.

Virgin River is a Place you want to Visit!
Revisado: 02-05-19
The story took me by surprise it made me feel intense sadness then grief and then eventually love with happiness. It has all the feels! When a writer can make you have intense feelings about the unique characters and the mystical setting you know it's a great book. I enjoyed each character (Jack & Mel of course) and the story was very beautiful. You get to understand what the main characters Jack and Mel and what they have gone through, and why they are in Virgin River. The supporting Characters Doc, and Preacher are colorful and interesting. The setting is beautiful, Robyn Carr created such a wonderful place of peace and love. The series is long and the characters are reoccurring, so I won't be sad as I delve into the community of Virgin River my Home away from Home!
The narrator Therese Plummer does a fantastic job differentiating between all characters. She is truly gifted.

Not her best work
Revisado: 01-03-19
The story ended too rapidly, left the story open ended. I also think the narrarotors sounded machine like, made it hard to listen with them sounding like robots. I've read and listened to way better books by Douglas, so don't get frustrated with this story, she has really good ones!!
