Historia
If anyone could be considered a Russian counterpart to the infamous British double-agent Kim Philby, it was Oleg Gordievsky. The son of two KGB agents and the product of the best Soviet institutions, the savvy, sophisticated Gordievsky grew to see his nation's communism as both criminal and philistine. He took his first posting for Russian intelligence in 1968 and eventually became the Soviet Union's top man in London, but from 1973 on he was secretly working for MI6.

Amazing story I had never heard about
Revisado: 07-12-19
This is a great Cold War spy thriller. The best part is, it’s completely true. The book is very well written and the narrator on the audible book is the perfect choice.

Perhaps the best book on World War II in Europe I have ever listened to
Revisado: 07-02-19
I have read an incredible number of books on World War II. Everything from Stephen Ambrose and Rick Atkinson included. This book is by far the most personal and heartfelt book of all of them. It is incredibly well written, and takes the reader deep inside the lives of the characters. I won’t spoil the ending, but the follow on stories the major players in the book dealt with in the aftermath of the war is nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend this book.

Historia
Easy Company, 506th Airborne Division, U.S. Army, was as good a rifle company as any in the world. From their rigorous training in Georgia in 1942 to D-Day and victory, Ambrose tells the story of this remarkable company, which kept getting the tough assignments. Easy Company was responsible for everything from parachuting into France early D-Day morning to the capture of Hitler's Eagle's Nest at Berchtesgaden. Band of Brothers is the account of the men of this remarkable unit.

Historia
The Second World War lasted for 2,174 days, cost $1.5 trillion, and claimed the lives of more than 50 million people. Why did the Axis lose? And could they, with a different strategy, have won? Andrew Roberts's acclaimed new history has been hailed as the finest single-volume account of this epic conflict. From the western front to North Africa, from the Baltic to the Far East, he tells the story of the war - the grand strategy and the individual experience, the cruelty and the heroism - as never before.

Incredible detailed history of World War II
Revisado: 09-24-18
This book is the most well written comprehensive and readable complete story of World War II I have ever read. The author seamlessly jumps between the Pacific and European theaters without missing a beat. Well read as well.

Incredible stories of the Apollo missions

This book is an absolutely credible journey from Apollo 1 through Apollo 17. The book is written in a near fiction in like manner, that makes you want to keep listening even after you turn car off.
