Historia
Despite his youth, Declan Idrys knows of the evils of the world. He knows of the bastards and brigands who plague the King's lands, of the monsters skulking in the wooded depths of the realm. Together with his companion, Ryn - a beast of rather peculiar talent - he has spent the last decade of his life beneath the bloody banners of a half-dozen mercenary guilds, hunting precisely such festering wickedness within the borders of Viridian.

Did not hold my attention and I listened to the whole book just in case it got better. You can tell it’s one of the author’s earliest books

Historia
"Call me Ishmael." Thus starts the greatest American novel. Melville said himself that he wanted to write "a mighty book about a mighty theme" and so he did. It is a story of one man's obsessive revenge-journey against the white whale, Moby-Dick, who injured him in an earlier meeting. Woven into the story of the last journey of The Pequod is a mesh of philosophy, rumination, religion, history, and a mass of information about whaling through the ages.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Since you are already familiar with the royal family, this gives you an insight to a real guy with real family issues. You can’t feel anything but sorry for what the media put him through. As he said, they should be held accountable and serve some jail time for the lies and slander invented just to make money.

The White Lich has fallen. The remnants of his army have fled into the forests. It should be a time of celebration. But as Dante regroups his people, the Angel of Taim arrives with a message. They may have defeated the lich, but Taim is still going to destroy the mortal world of Rale.

The first few books were great but now the story is such a stretch and boring. Go back to what Dante and Blase were all about and made this tag team so good. This whole monster quest has lost my interest.

Historia
Imagine what life would be like to be loved by a not-so-typical wild deer. Think of the discoveries - full of fun, and at times, terrifying - as awareness blurs nature's wildlife boundaries and friendship grows. This is the true tale of a deer rescue and a human. It was the spring of 1999 when Anna found the fawn, alone and dying in the grassy paddock of Unicorn Hollow, her farm in bucolic Tewksbury, New Jersey. The sick baby triggered vivid memories of her own catastrophic injuries as a small child, and their bond grew strong.

WOW!!! What a great story!!
Revisado: 12-12-19
Heartwarming, thought provoking, and non-fiction in one book. I wish I could give it 6 stars.
Rescuing a wild newborn deer from certain death and raising it not as a pet, but as a companion, makes you look at the human-animal relationship in a whole new way. Blossom lives among her fellow deer in the wild but still maintains the human relationship with her savior and fellow human “friends” in the small town of Tewksbury, New Jersey.
It was wonderful to see the parallels of Blossom struggling to survive and the author’s struggle to survive as a child in a burn ward.
On the darker side, it was very thought provoking to see how some people would go out of their way to target a known, friendly deer just so nobody could tell them what to do.
Many things to love about this book and I’m only scratching the surface.
I have read over 300 books on audible over the years and it’s rare that I take the time for a full written review. But this book is that good so do yourself a favor and jump into this true story.

I have never heard of anyone doing 2 autobiographies so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Well, it did not disappoint. Richard Branson is definitely the most interesting man in the world and should start Virgin Beer just so he can make those commercials.
Highly recommend and can’t wait for the third installment of the trilogy that is his life.

Historia
In a scrap heap within an abandoned factory, the greatest invention in history lies dormant and unused. By what fatal error of judgment has its value gone unrecognized, its brilliant inventor punished rather than rewarded for his efforts? In defense of those greatest of human qualities that have made civilization possible, one man sets out to show what would happen to the world if all the heroes of innovation and industry went on strike.

I've never seen a book that was so good and painful at the same time. I highly recommend this book but just be ready for hour long monologues. You don't have to say the same thing 100 different ways to get your point across.

The topics covered are fascinating but there is a lot of technical stuff about atoms, molecules, amino acids, etc. so you have to listen closely. I found my mind wandering at times because of the complexity.

How can names change???
Revisado: 05-13-16
Great story as they all are but the narrator should have listened to at least the first book to hear how the names were pronounced. It takes some getting used to when city names change. How can you change Bebbenburg to Bambray or whatever he's saying now? Bebbenburg was the Saxon pronunciation at the time and he should have stuck with it.
I'm looking forward to the next book and hope the names go back to the original pronunciations.
