Amazing!!!
Revisado: 12-22-20
This book is super fast paced. No time wasted. The author came to the point and the plot really quickly and I loved it. There were twists and turns. To be honest, I had a feeling about the final reveal and wasn’t too surprised because there were signs in the book and also maybe because I have read too many crime books 🤩 but I still loved it!! Would recommend!!

Historia
DCI Craig Gillard will be pushed to his limits. But will he break? It seems like a routine disappearance, a case of musician’s stage fright. As a senior detective, Craig Gillard isn’t sure why he’s even involved. Until it turns out the woman’s father is the German minister of justice, and the British home secretary is on the case, too. But nothing about the case is simple. How does a woman on a train simply vanish? What do you do when a trail runs cold and the pressure is on? Before long the perpetrator has another target: DCI Gillard himself.

Clever but creepy
Revisado: 09-01-20
This is such a well thought out story but there were so many uncomfortable sexual interactions within family which made me want to puke. I loved the 2nd book more than this as I found it more easy to listen to. However, I can see why many people would like this; it’s just so so clever. I hated the ending though!!! I feel terrible for Gillard and I am thankful I do not belong to his family in any way!!

Historia
Promising architect Peter Young is shot dead at his desk. DCI Craig Gillard is on the scene, looking at what appears to be a brutal and highly professional hit: two bullets, fired with ice-cold calm. Gillard knows that the most crucial question in solving the crime is one word: why? Two weeks later, on the Lincolnshire coast, another body is found on a windswept beach. In this case there is no identity for the young man, just a curious brand burned into his neck....

AMAZINNNNNNG
Revisado: 08-28-20
I must say, after such a long time, this book really kept me on the edge of my seat. It’s so beautifully planned and executed! I enjoyed this far more than the first book and I really hope his next books are as thrilling as this. I love Craig Gillard! Also, the narrator did a fantastic job with the many different accents. It isn’t such an easy thing to do! I really loved everything as a whole!

Good!!
Revisado: 08-21-20
This is a really good read!! It’s not a story I will carry with me forever but it’s a damn good mystery. I wouldn’t say it’s a “whodunnit” crime story because you know who the killer is the whole time but you just need to know why and how this person has done whatever they had to do!

LOVE LOVE LOVE AS ALWAYS
Revisado: 06-07-20
I am so sad that this book is over because that means I have to wait another few months for her next book to release. I had been waiting ever since her last book for this one, and I must say, it was worth the wait!!! Although, I guessed the killer a bit early, the whole journey was thrilling. I love Lottie and Boyd and all their adventures! I feel like I am so familiar with Ragmullin! Was extremely thrilling and kept my heart racing at nights when I listened till the killer was caught! Must read!

Amazing!!
Revisado: 12-07-19
I just cannot describe in words how much I feel for this book. It left me feeling sad and I just cannot explain what that feeling is. I read the Tattooist of Auschwitz before this and I must say I read the stories of two survivors; one being real and the other being fiction but I was more familiar with what was happening in this book since I had read that. This story will remain with me for decades to come and I must pass it on. I want to visit the camp one day, it has given me even more urge to visit this dreadful place and mourn for the loss of the millions. This book also let’s you know that circumstances/difficult situations may try to change a person but what he truly is, will remain till the end. That conscience is something that never dies if he/she had one from the start. It’s a beautifully written Novel.

Amazing, but..
Revisado: 11-24-19
I have been following the Lottie Parker series since book 3 and I have been loving it. I am so used to the stories of Ragmullin and Lottie Parker that I want to keep hearing about them. But sometimes I get annoyed when the narration doesn’t get to the main point and unnecessary details are being described and dragged for so long till the big news comes out. I become so impatient and it’s annoying. But that’s just the only thing. I am always on the edge of my seat turning pages otherwise.
