I enjoyed these short stories. The stories are presented by a narrator who recounts his conversations with alien characters. But there is little action in the stories. There are a lot of details to pay attention too; like character descriptions, alien biology and practices, and the story's fictional sciences. Also, the author imagined social and political issues that could be possible if aliens resided on Earth.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I would like to take out the parts with the And/Or Sisters which was tiresome. There were too many boring segments that did not add to the resolution of the mystery nor were they entertaining for me.

Would you ever listen to anything by Meatball Fulton again?

I don't know. I liked Ruby1 and Jack Flanders first story. Maybe my like of his stories will be sporadic. So I just need to try another.

What does the narrator bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The actors were lively, varied, and great.

Do you think Ruby 3 needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

What I think is negligible as follow-up have already been produced.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I would of like the story more if it had a better ending. The explanation was a blur to listen to as an audiobook. Perhaps the conclusion requires a re-read to follow Schekley's logic at the conclusion.

What was most disappointing about Robert Sheckley’s story?
It was unlikely the protagonist would see people from his past during his journey without a better explanation.

What does Tom Weiner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
His reading is more interesting than my silent voice in my head.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Mindswap?
The long journey of the protagonist to find a women with whom he had brief connection.
