Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

A true thriller from beginning to end
Revisado: 12-19-12
I couldn't put this one down, and have since purchased other Nora Roberts recordings. This story is a great listen, there is lots of action and momentum and you really bond with the protagonist. There is a roller coaster of emotions that are brought out in this fun beach book type read.
If you are looking for something that keeps you turning the pages and leaves you wanting another book of the same, try The Witness, you wont be disappointed.

not what I expected
Revisado: 12-19-12
I think I wanted this story to be something it wasn't. The narration was quite good, which made it easy to finish, despite not enjoying the story. I think I wanted the story to be more gripping, about 'something'. I was very disappointed in the ending.

Is this a different author?
Revisado: 09-24-12
I have listened to several Sandra Brown thrillers and have truly enjoyed them... this story is very very very different from the usual thriller. I was not expecting the soft core porn aspect of this story. Her other books do not have anything quite so 'adult'.

I am about 3/4 of the way through the story... and just can't finish it. The book seems to go on and on and on. One tense scene after another, it never ends.
Unfortunately I don't think I will finish this one.

Great story, a bit choppy
Revisado: 05-28-12
The style of this story is that it switches from timeframe to timeframe, from a listener's perspective it is very difficult to keep straight what is happening 'now' v.s. past v.s. future. the story is very interesting, but the jumping around in time is difficult to follow.
I finished the story, but had to rewind A LOT.
