Wonderful - time well spent!
Revisado: 10-30-22
This is a fantastic listen of a ingeniously crafted story by Donna Schwartze encompassing the excitement of love at first sight with the reality of it arguably happening at the worst possible moment. Stella Hunter and Robert Hatchett matched the chemistry of the well developed characters with their performance of the story. Their emotion, timing, and delivery definitely added to the fun plot. Don’t miss this listen!

Great start and a bit disappointing with end
Revisado: 10-18-13
The first of this series, Potato Factory was fantastic as well as the second story here Tommo and Hawk. Although the final story, "Solomon's Song" does a great job illustrating the stupidity and horror of war despite the glorious courage shown by most - the ending was disappointing after such an investment with all the books.

Historia
While Abraham Lincoln is widely lauded for saving a Union and freeing millions of slaves, his valiant fight against the forces of the undead has remained in the shadows for hundreds of years. That is, until Seth Grahame-Smith stumbled upon The Secret Journal of Abraham Lincoln, and became the first living person to lay eyes on it in more than 140 years.

Skepticsm reformed . . .
Revisado: 07-04-12
I was very skeptical that I would enjoy this story or performance after doing some "serious" reading of Abraham Lincoln biographies for a book club summer reading venture. This was the final of the books and what fun it was. I was impressed by the relatively seamless incorporation of fiction into well researched facts. The plot and delivery style were enticing and kept my attention throughout an all-night driving endeavor. Well worth the listen!
