I’ve listened to the audiobooks, probably six or seven times … and getting a fresh entry into the stories has been fantastic. This episodes heavier on awesome sci-fi a little less deep in political shenanigans.

I’m not sure I can wait another year for the next installment . I was wondering how they were gonna wrap up the story…. And I realized looking at my iPhone there was only 15 minutes left. Definitely room for several more books if not more.

Hopefully the author doesn’t get tired of his characters!!! Keep up the great work! -Richard Carlton

Ward Carrol Really knows his stuff… when it comes to flying the F 14, and live aboard the boat. When I read the best cover of the book, I was concerned that Ward was going to dive into a topic that he didn’t really know.

Wow…I was wrong. This audio book is fantastic. Ward does a great job trying to explain special forces ground activities, including those of the CIA, while in the sandbox… in the early days.

I was a little concerned about this book because the first half chapter is a bit disjointed and of course if you think about this is the least experienced part of the authors skill set. (first chapter of the first book of the series)

Then after a couple of minutes thing get rolling.... and rolling...and by the end of the book I feel like I am in an original Tom Clancy novel. Shhiit is going sideways real bad... and the author makes us feel like we are there.

As a Civilian Helicopter pilot...I appreciate that this book IS NOT some cooked up bullsshht ...from a guy who never flew an F-14. Ward Caroll has "been there and done that."

As a pilot I can tell this is legit...and I also got to learn some things about Naval Aviation... at least from the 80's and 90's... I highly value. I love learning. I have never met Ward Carrol, but seems like a nice enough guy...so support his books...and buy them all. Or in my case listen to the audio books ..and listen while fly long X-country trips in the helicopter. :-)

Also...I am kinda of afraid... that some of the elements of the story... are based on real life people. Argh!!! Watch out for the "Soups" in the world!

This is a truly exceptional book and the audio version of it is fantastic as well. I was concerned about a new author continuing the Mitch Rapp story, but this book quacks and acts... like Vince Flynn. Awesome!
