Some narration struggles

The female narrator set a very childish or inaccurate/unrealistic tone for many of the male voices. I don’t mean the pitch of voice, but the random child-like innocence that comes through with the enunciations and personality behind them. It really pulled me out of the story almost every time and I couldn’t get past it, but tried really hard to.

I surprisingly enjoyed the fact that the primary narrator was the Male POV. It was really refreshing and I enjoyed the growth of both characters through every challenge they faced.
