Excellent narration

I always love Agatha Christie stories, and this is one of her most twisting and turning mysteries. I also enjoyed the time spent on all the individual personalities in the story. The narrator is wonderful. Any male narrator who can do such a perfect old lady voice and every other voice without being distracting is a good narrator.

I love Agatha Christie and this story is a great one. The narrator is absolutely wonderful, his character voices are perfect for the story and are never distracting or irritating. I stayed immersed in the story the entire time and was never pulled out by poor elements of narration, which happens a lot with other books.

Perfect narration for a wonderful story

I listened to this with my 8 and 9 year old sons. They and I absolutely loved it. It’s a precious, heart-warming, emotional roller coaster of a story. They kept asking to listen to it constantly, and now that we’re done, my 8yo insists that we simply start over at the beginning right away. In short, we loved it.

Wonderful and well-read

My favorite kind of story. Long, filled with intricate and subtle twists and turns and details. The performance was perfect, and the narrators accents and voices done so incredibly well that I often forgot that he was the same narrator for each character and voice. Highly recommended!

Wonderful story and perfect narration

I tend to be choosy about readers; the narration of this story is so excellent that you forget there is even a narrator at all: Rosamund Pike is a reader I will look for again and again. The book is one I avoided reading in the past, as I saw the movie first, and was not enthralled by any of the characters. I find now that I have long missed a wonderful story. The subtleties of every character and the quiet drama straining against propriety, balanced by the occasional lapses of the author into dry and hilarious satire make for a simply wonderful audiobook.

My kids couldn’t stand the narrator

I read this book to my kids (9, 8, 5) last year and they (and I) loved it immensely. I downloaded it here because I don’t have time to read it again, and they quit listening a few chapters in. I was absolutely floored to discover that the narrator mispronounces the main character’s name. He constantly pronounces the simple name “Irene” as “Irenie,” and my kids couldn’t stand it.
Please buy a better recording or even get a copy and read it, because it’s an absolutely wonderful book. We just really didn’t like this reader.

Excellent narration, and I was impressed by the accents. I would definitely listen again. This is one of Christie's slower novels, but still fascinating.

these books were wonderful. I'm picky about narrations, but this narrator was amazing. there was never a moment when he distracted from the story, and he always put just the right amount of energy into tense situations.

Stephen Fry is an amazing narrator, to the point that I will likely seek out other books he has narrated. I'm afraid other narrators will be a disappointment after this excellent production.
the stories, of course, speak for themselves.
